Chanel is AWESOME! She helped my son pick the perfect first tattoo and didn’t just place it. She offered great suggestions. Atmosphere was chill and laid back and super comfortable! Thank you sooooo much!

I only get my piercings from this shop! I went off to college and got a few piercings that didn’t work/heal well but when I came home and got them redone at slow fade they were absolutely perfect and last. Do yourselves a favor and make the drive no matter how far out and come here. If I moved across the county and wanted a new piercing I’d probably specifically fly back just to go to slowfade

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI went in for a cover up tattoo on October 1st got my new tattoo started and paid for my new tattoo in full said it would take 2 additional sessions I came back 2 weeks later and got more done after repeated messages about wanting to come in to have more done and getting ignored by the artist finally got session 2 done I waited 2 weeks for it to heal before contacting about coming in for the final sessions I’ve been ignored for 3 weeks now finally got ahold of the artist set up a day and time to come in and now he’s flat out ignoring me again so now I have a half finished tattoo cover up that I can’t seem to get them to finish that I’ve already paid for. Go somewhere else this shop is crooked will take your money and not finish the job.Service: TattoosI went in for a cover up tattoo on October 1st got my new tattoo started and paid for my new tattoo in full said it would take 2 additional sessions I came back 2 weeks later and got more done after repeated messages about wanting to come …More

I’ve been tattooed in multiple states all over the country and this is my favorite tattoo shop by far, and the best place to go for tattoos and piercings along the Gulf Coast that I’ve been able to find. Friendly artists that do incredible work. I’ve been tattooed by Matt, Fuk’err, and Chanel. All 3 artists are INCREDIBLE and I will definitely be returning there in the future

This is, by FAR, the best tattoo studio in the Alabama coast….maybe the entire gulf coast. All the staff are the most friendly and genuinely intriguing people you’ll meet.

The line work on these tattoos me and my friend got we’re absolutely terrible. They’ve done multiple friends tattoos and they have all had to go get them redone. We also asked the guy to fix the tip of the wings because to me that was one of the most noticeable things on the tattoo that was messed up. He wouldn’t fix it because he said he would be here all night if we were trying to have it perfect and not everythings perfect. The number tattoo on the other hand was just very uneven. The nines were completely different sizes from all the other numbers, the one is curved, and the threes looks completely different. We now have to go get these fixed. I do not recommend this place at all.

Critical: ProfessionalismContacted them through their Facebook page and talked to someone who said just come in during business hours. Went in at 12pm, there were about 4-5 people sitting around and not one was eager to help, when one finally did help he asked what I wanted and acted like he was looking online for ideas or something, gave me a sign in sheet and said he would call once they drew it up. It’s been close to two months with no word lol. So I went to Empire Tattoos, they took my idea and made it happen pretty fast. Slow Fade gave me the impression of a locals only tattoo shop, good ole boy system. Which is alright but bad for business if you’re the owner. Not professional at all, there was a bottle of bourbon at one workstation. I’m a drinking guy but if I owned a business I would definitely not drink or allow my employees to drink. Very unprofessional. Maybe they used it sterilize skin or tools I don’t know lol. That’s just my experience, yours might be better.Service: TattoosContacted them through their Facebook page and talked to someone who said just come in during business hours.
