I hands down Absolutely LOVE this place. Every time I come here Lucero never lets me down. She is always up to date with the latest hair trends so much that I absolutely trust her with my hair. And I can also get my makeup done here too! Cerlin is amazing.. I always go here when I have an event I need to look good for. Sleek Society is truly a hidden gem that you don’t want to overlook.

Honestly I’m disappointed. It was my first time dying my hair it was virgin hair. I made my appointment for 1:30 and left around 7. I showed the picture I wanted and everything and within those 6-7 hours I was there I was told we didn’t have time to finish the process. I was told that my hair would fall out if we continued to put bleach so she gave me a completely different look. Don’t waste your money here. Here’s what I wanted and what I got. I’m still looking into speaking with the owner to resolve this issue but I haven’t got a response on the situation on Instagram. I don’t even want to go back to fix my hair.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI recently took my wife and she was in love with the salon and even more with Lucero. She says lucero made her feel welcome and comfortable and they had “girl chat” not sure what that means haha. She says that she will definitely wants to go again! I love that this salon made her so happy when i picked her up, made my night to see her so happy! And she looks amazing to say the least! I recently took my wife and she was in love with the salon and even more with Lucero. She says lucero made her feel welcome and comfortable and they had “girl chat” not sure what that means haha. She says that she will definitely wants to go again! I love that this salon made her so happy when i picked her up, made my night to see her so happy! And she looks amazing to say the least! Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueNot recommended: Highly disappointed – Money theft – Service: micro weft extensions.I paid $330ish for both hair extensions and service. Prior to getting the service I shared the concern with my stylist that I felt my hair may be too thin to do weft and was open to individuals , however she reassured me all was well and proceeded to go with the weft service ( it was also wash day for my hair and I was expecting to be washed – my hair was noticeably oily , but stylist didn’t offer or recommend.. I had to request it) I checked out and paid a total of $200ishy at the salon the. Later on that day around 8-9 pm I get a call from The receptionist asking to collect the additional $130 for the hair since they failed to give me the correct rate both on ig / in person (mind I was in the middle of dinner) , but I wasn’t mad at that because hey I know mistakes happen. Less than two days my weft was already falling down more than HALF way down my hair… I get booked for the next following day and waited over an hour to be seen and happen to make small talk with a lady that had also had the same service / problem and was there for a repair as well. The original stylist was unable to see me due to being busy so I was passed on to another one; she re-tighten the weft up. I asked her if she can ask the owner Lucero to take a look at it because I didn’t want to be “that client” whom complains and goes back and fourth. I was told I could go up to her and ask her to look myself , she didn’t say it rudely but that’s pretty much rude and unprofessional.. why should I get out of my seat and go up to the owner as she’s talking up a storm with her client in her chair which looked to be a really good friend of hers ( awkward) .. she should’ve asked the owner for a few seconds of her time to look at my hair and share my concern especially because I was there for a repair days later after my initial appointment. Also no apology was given. The next day I head to Mexico , given I’d be out there for a month or so(salon full aware that I was getting my hair done for this specific reason / side note weft is suppose to last 1-3 months depending upon maintenance/up keep ) the 3rd day into Mexico I decided to purple shampoo my hair because it caught some brazzines being in the sun and all.well let me tell you those extensions of “high quality hair “ turned grey … blonde to grey and my weft was also half way hanging .. at that point I gave up and said forget this and since I had no tools out there I made my boyfriend improvise , this man bent the beads one by one with his teeth out my hair .. I threw that poor quality hair in the trash where it belonged and let room service take them (talk about vacation hair nightmare) I had shared this concern to the hairstylist rep and was told to get a call back that same day however I didn’t until end of that week. So given the delay and me being out of the country I went ahead and msg them on ig and said to refund the service cost and I’d take the loss on the hair cost (too nice at that) the bank refunded my money .I spoke to lucero and gave her the recap and she said: “ I don’t give call backs the same day so that was misinformed “ , “I can’t refund you , however bring the hair and I’ll retouch everything” I told her the ongoing dissatisfaction tied to her salon /services was not okay and I had disputed ONLY the 200 ishy from my bank … nothing more and nothing less..2 months later I see that 200ishy reversed and recharged to my bank account. As an understanding customer I did my part by communicating multiple times however was treated with inconsideration&unprofessionalism Ive supported lucero since back before , I remember when she first started .. I was only 19sitting in her moms kitchen as she did my braided sew in and anytime anyone had ever asked for a hair referral, I’d refer her despite not going Persistently I just liked her as a person and admired her come up.
