Positive: Professionalism, QualityWow!!! I absolutely love my waist length, small knotless braids. Prior to visiting Sleek Braids, I was a teenager when I last had braids (in the 90s), so needless to say, I was a little anxious about how my scalp would respond and if the braids would pull my hair out. This was not the case with Sleek Braids! I was very impressed with their professionalism and my braids are so neat. Every question I had was answered and any concern I had quickly disappeared. My scalp feels healthy and my braids don’t feel heavy. I’ve had these braids in for a month now and I repeatedly get comments about how nice my braids are and get asked where I had them done (then I share the shop’s information). Wow!!! I absolutely love my waist length, small knotless braids. Prior to visiting Sleek Braids, I was a teenager when I last had braids (in the 90s), so needless to say, I was a little anxious about how my scalp would respond and if the braids would pull my hair out. Critical: ProfessionalismI booked an appointment with them through Instagram. I sent them my deposit for 6am for today . I washed and blow dried my hair that same day in anticipation for my 6pm appointment. I get there and call to confirm that I’m in the right place and the lady tells me the braider left. She claimed she texted me changing the time for 5 pm earlier in the day and did not receive a response. Therefore, the braider left. I did not receive a text nor was it mentioned beforehand that a confirmation text will be sent. I even texted them earlier to ask if I could pay via zelle, she read my text but no answer. She said she could reschedule and when I ask will money be taking off for the inconvenience, there was no response. I booked an appointment with them through Instagram. I sent them my deposit for 6am for today . I washed and blow dried my hair that same day in anticipation for my 6pm appointment. I get there and call to confirm that I’m in the right place and the lady tells me the braider left. I have referred friends and family to them and two of my family members have gone and have shared great reviews with me. I used to be very nervous about braids and the tension it puts on hair, but it is not a worry with sleek braids. If you want an appointment with them be sure to book ahead of time. This is the second time I’ve gotten very long small knotless braids with blended colors and I’m always more than satisfied.They strive for perfection and always do their best to make sure you leave feeling great! I have referred friends and family to them and two of my family members have gone and have shared great reviews with me.
