I absolutely love going to slay lounge. I’ve been going here since I was about 9 or 10 years old (17 now). The service here is incredible, the women working here make you feel welcome all around and the results are astonishing. Everyone here is absolutely amazing at what they do. And you’re like me and your curly hair is too much to handle all the time this is the best place to go. Love love love Shauna (the owner and my hairstylist) she’ll definitely take care of your hair. Fully recommend.

Shauna was a fantastic stylist! Very skilled, knowledgeable, and is genuinely passionate regarding her incredible talent. She was gentle, which isn’t always the case with stylists I’ve had. It was refreshing to have a stylist implement care and concern regarding my hair, then suggest real solutions to help my hair grow and flow. She gave me a fierce and glamorous hairstyle that I’m in love with. I will definitely be a returning customer! I can’t thank her enough!

Dayonna Amoni I had an appointment with her for an install made the appointment 2 week prior with her. The day of appointment 2 hours before appointment time I saw that time had changed to next day, and I was scheduled to be out of the country at the time of updated appointment. I called Dayonna and asked what is going on? She told me she had car trouble. Buyer beware she is very unprofessional, ghetto, and a horrible business person. We all want to support our black owned businesses but Slay Lounge is also very tacky establishment. Will Never Return!

I wish I would’ve read these reviews about Dasia before booking with her. Extremely unprofessional. After booking online you have to text her to double confirm which is dumb. I booked my hair appointment for my birthday 2 weeks prior. I texted her twice the day before to confirm the appointment and ask for a total since I was purchasing hair. She did not text me THE NEXT DAY 30 mins before my appointment asking what type of hair and if I can come at 1. I didn’t see the messages until I was in the parking lot and I was already on my way when she texted me. She said she was not at the salon because she was waiting on confirmation. Waiting on confirmation??? I booked this appointment 2 weeks ago and texted twice the day before for confirmation and you sent a message 30 mins before trying to change everything. Don’t recommend her or this shop if they are allowing her to still be employed.

Literally an hour before and she did not provide any options to reschedule nor an explanation to why she cancelled.
