For 27 years, I walked this earth looking for a way for my nails to catch someone’s eye while also not deliberately attempting to be noticed. This is a fine line to walk. When I found Vanna and saw her work online, I knew I needed to give it a try. Her work was so detailed and beautiful, in a way I had never seen nails before. She is incredibly versatile in her abilities and communicates until she has a COMPLETE grasp of exactly what her clients want. I’ve wanted intricate designs I found online, and she was able to recreate them with ease and even add her own touch. I’ve gotten my nails done by Vanna countless times now and could never see myself going anywhere else. She can literally do anything you want with nails, and every idea you have is valued, encouraged, and executed to perfection. I would recommend her to anyone interested in getting their nails done, BUT I won’t because they might steal a time slot that could be mine 😉 but really, go to Vanna. Every time I get my nails done, people always stop me to compliment my nails.

Vanna for nails is an absolute queen and always does the most perfect job. Her attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed. I love the community vibes and always enjoy going there for my appointments.

I’ve been coming to Slain for some time now and I love it there! The atmosphere is great and the staff is welcoming. I specifically go to Vanna and she gets my nails right every time. Whether I have an idea or don’t she always comes up with something amazing!

NOT WHAT I WANTED!! I called and scheduled for a pedicure and manicure with acrylics and got the complete opposite the pedicure was OK the manicure was not what I wanted. Instead they gave me a basic manicure after I told her and showed her not once but twice of the picture of nails that I want and she said that she could do them but then later on tells me that I will schedule for a basic manicure. This is my first time at this location and I have never left so frustrated and upset in my whole life. Paid for something I didn’t want and was laughed at for it and didn’t even wanna solve the problem. Never again. Will be reporting to th BBB so this place is flagged. I WANT A REFUND FOR THE TIME I WASTED HERE!

Horrible. Lady I had, Rose, so unfriendly and rude. Didn’t listen to what I wanted. Was so rough with my hands and fingers. I have nerve damage, shoulder problems and arthritis. She kept jerking my hands, fingers and shoulders. By the time I left I was in a ton of pain and my fingers and joints ached. The length and shape I showed her is not even close to what I got. After washing my hands to go get the gel coat, I was going to say something about fixing the shape, but she had her purse on her shoulder and her light was off and she was speaking to her ride on the phone. In addition, The girls behind me both the client and the nail tech were talking so loud and cussing and talking about getting drugged and going out. Expensive and completely disappointing.

I have been going to Slain for almost a year now and it’s all because of Vanna. She is extremely kind and talented. She has really helped me take care of my nails and now you wouldn’t even be able to tell that these are natural. Thanks for the good vibes and the amazing work.

I said in my review that no conversation is expected, but I was treated very rudely and felt soooo awkward. I won’t be coming back. Also my nails are already peeling around the edges on day 3, weren’t trimmed, and aren’t the shape I wanted, so no, not a great job done.Very very cute salon. Loved the vibe immediately when I came in. Unfortunately, it was not a vibe that lingered long as I was brought back to Rose. No conversation, which is understandable and frequently expected when going to nail salons. However, she acted very burdened by my presence and I felt super awkward the whole time. For $80 (twice my regular salon’s price, which offers very nice techs and free alcohol) I really expected to be treated more politely. Granted, I love the nails I got, although she didn’t trim them which I really needed and I’m worried they’ll break at this length…. Mixed feelings. I had a decent experience there. I went to two different ladies each time just because I can’t find someone who does my nails perfectly. They both took their time doing my nails but it’s awkward when no conversation happens. First women didn’t speak to me at all. Second one, we made some conversation. The second women did a good job but she was way too rough on my nails. I know she probably didn’t do it intentionally but I have a high pain tolerance. It burned when she went down with her drill on my nails.. Besides that they’re really great at nail art. Which I truly appreciated.
