I stumbled upon this place while attending a wedding in Chicago. Since I was only in town for a few hours (11am to midnight), I needed a place to freshen up before the wedding (after a red eye flight and 6hr layover in Vegas). I initially booked a day hotel but wasn’t tired when I landed in town. So I Googled “day spa” on maps, and this place popped up as the first option. After comparing many other spas, I opted for this one (although it was in the opposite direction of the wedding) because it met my needs. It appeared to have a big facility with different stations, dry sauna, wet sauna, steam room, swimming pool etc. And upon arrival, it was more than I imagined. The facilities were nice and clean. Big spacious locker room. There was a cold pool inside and also heated pool outside. The staff that attended to me while there was friendly and helpful. I bought a pair of swim shorts & slippers (didn’t pack any cuz it wasn’t in my initial plans), which they had in different sizes, and found my size easily! I felt a bit outta place initially, (especially being out of town & not a regular spa person) as it seemed like everyone knew someone there, and most people appeared to be regulars. However, I had an overall great experience, even got a massage (holistic healing session with Shak – whom I highly recommend!), and tried a few items from the menu at the Cafe, which was delightful! If you’re in the area, stop by. I’d seen Chicago a few years prior and wasn’t interested in sightseeing on my short trip, so this worked for me. Another note: I usually don’t leave much feedback for places, let alone long ones, but because I’m so satisfied with this experience, well here you have it! Enjoy!!

An excellent place to go to relax, break a sweat and eat some great European food. I recommend the Borsht. Facility is super clean and very well maintained. Never too crowded but they have space to accommodate lots of people. From the dry sauna to the steam room and all year around pool it’s a great experience. Best spa around the area compared to any others.

We celebrated a private event on the past weekend and ordered a Private Room A. It included an access to the private sauna room and the top-restaurant level dinner served in our private area. The experience was simply outstanding! Each guest received a special bracelet, which allowed access to our private area and to all public areas. All of my guests noticed a high-grade level of the food and the professional approach of the staff to the event. The room had 2 Smart TVs with apps, a big speaker with a mic for karaoke, and a connection to Wifi to make the event being highly memorable. Thank you, Sky Spa for a such amazing experience!

I was driving there for 1 hour, they didn’t let me in with the child. So family-friendly place. Nothing to say anymore. My daughter was very upset. I needed to drive back for another hour… Will not come back there ever again. Red square bathhouse never did anything like that. So they are still the one and only for us.

Went for the first time today. The coed part had REALLY warm saunas, one hot one dry, and a slightly less hot steam room (scented with tea tree!), and a cool pool and cold bucket showers. The women’s locker room has a private suana and steam room, and a jacuzzi. And it was all only $35!! 10/10 would recommend, I feel so good. It was amazing!!

Great experience highly recommend trying the food especially the kartoshka(potatos) and smoked fish and of course the vodka and tea. Hands down the best Russian banya around with amazing authentic atmosphere. Perfect place to relax maybe get a message steam or sauna. They have an ice bath to help all your muscle aches and pains. My cousin and I get together here at least once a month and just relax. If your looking for an European cultural experience this is the place for it!
