There were so many factors that contributed to this being a terrible experience. First and foremost, he kept stopping to go to the back of the building for reasons I don’t understand. He paused about ten times to drink his pop, count his money, and do other things. He pushed on the sides of my fingers and yanked on my hands and arms so hard that I was wincing. Then he told me that because I had five colors, it would be $55, so I just chose one color because it wasn’t my money. After 45 minutes, I hadn’t even gotten my nails painted. So, when I told him I didn’t want color, he had the audacity to ask why I changed my mind so much. For reference, I was looking for medium length coffin shaped nails. After he put them on, he asked if they were at a good length, I told him a little longer, and he said it would cost more, I told him that’s OK, and he just ignored me and cut them short with SAFETY SCISSORS!!! He held the drill thing against my skin for so long that it cut me, and then when he was filing, he just kept filing my skin so quickly. He spent about 40 minutes filing them, which only made matters worse because they are all lopsided to the left. I have glue and acrylic powder all over my hands. They’ve all had their tops shaved down differently, so all of them are fatter than the others. I said what I didn’t like about them so many times and he just ignored me. Other girls in there had longer nails than I did, and theirs were colored and designed, whereas mine took longer because he kept going back to file them. I could have done them myself, but a friend took me there for my birthday. Instead of having a pleasant experience with a friend, we paid $40 for various shapes & sized nails that aren’t painted, pain, cuts, and plain ignorance!! My friends fingers were all cut up, the lady was slapping her hand with the file and yelling at her to relax because she wasn’t bending them to her liking which she couldn’t because it wasn’t even possible to bend them that way.I would have rated this a -10 but I can’t so 1 it is I will NEVER go back!! This is what I wanted vs. what I got!

Positive: Quality, ValueCame to Sky Nails today for a full set and powder/dip nails. Han (Rose) took me to her chair right away and began working. I mentioned I have engagement pictures tomorrow and she vowed to make sure my nails were perfect! She said “anything for you!” and was so diligent to make sure they were perfect. She dipped them like 5 times to get the shade I wanted. They turned out beautifully, as you can see. Came to Sky Nails today for a full set and powder/dip nails. Han (Rose) took me to her chair right away and began working. I mentioned I have engagement pictures tomorrow and she vowed to make sure my nails were perfect! She said “anything for you!” and was so diligent to make sure they were perfect. She dipped them like 5 times to get the shade I wanted. They turned out beautifully, as you can see. Thanks so much Han!

Every time I decide to get my nails done, I never hesitate to call Sky Nails. I’ve been to other places before but no other place treats me as well as Sky does. Heather specifically, continues to do an excellent job. I’ll show her a design that looks complicated and every time, she never fails to wow me and make it look even better than the picture. Sky Nails Spa did a GREAT job! They took me early, as I arrived for my appointment early. They shaped my nails just perfectly and got the length perfectly. I honestly can’t praise enough. It’s like they read my mind. They asked a few times to ensure I liked everything and were very polite. I love the look of the salon too, very modern and chic. Can’t wait to go back to get my nails done again and try out a pedicure!

This service is great. When entering the shop, the staff is warmly welcomed and immediately serviced. The staff that worked on my nails was always attentive and made sure I was satisfied with what I ordered. The nail salon is clean, the nail designs they do are very nice and the prices are reasonable. Overall the service was great and I will definitely come back to this nail salon.

This was my third month in a row returning to Sky Nails Spa and I have left happy every time! Everyone is always extremely nice, the salon is very clean, and I appreciate that they take their time with each client instead of just rushing through to take another client. I highly recommend and will definitely be back next month!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueGot a regular mani/pedi to use up a gift certificate that I had. Pedicure massage felt good but he was distracted and he didn’t do the pumice stone on my feet like usually do. He was irritated that couldn’t turn my leg to make it easier for him since I have screws in hips. Manicure was worse. Peter pushed back my cuticles really hard and fast which hurt and every time he took polish off the skin, he’d dig his finger in which hurt. Grew out nails and wanted them square but he cut off too much that they’re short and not all are same shape. Didn’t get the kind of design wanted. Within that first day, the tips were already coming off and looked like the polish was separating. I went in the next day for them to fix them and ended up with Peter again who was very rude and pretty much said if it was gel and something happened it was his fault but since they were regular, it was mine. I don’t even understand why they’re using gel nail polish for a regular manicure. It’s the end of Day 2 and my nails are doing it again. Not everyone can afford to get the gel manicure. Got a regular mani/pedi to use up a gift certificate that I had. Pedicure massage felt good but he was distracted and he didn’t do the pumice stone on my feet like usually do. He was irritated that couldn’t turn my leg to make it easier for him since I have screws in hips. Manicure was worse. I went with my mom last weekend to get a manicure and pedicure. She had a good experience and a skilled technician. My technician did alright on the pedicure. But when he did my manicure he cut my nails too short and caused the side of my nail to bleed after cutting too deep. Nothing was said about the bleeding, not even to notify me. My nails were not long when I came in, but they could have been shaped without making it incredibly hard for me to even open a can of soda.
