This place is absolutely amazing. Its neat and clean and the work is amazing, however my friend got her nails done by a guy (don’t know his name) and hey completely disregarded her requests and did what he wanted. My other friend and I got our nails by Nina and I recommend her to everyone. She’s welcoming, funny, kind, and confident. My friends and I are 16 and she made connected with us on so many levels. I absolutely love her and this place.

My daughter and I had appointments at 2 o’clock on Sunday. We didn’t get into a chair until about 3 o’clock and ended up staying until 5 o’clock. I did not plan on spending my entire day there while they waited on walk-in appointments and neglected their appointment times. I was transferred from my original manicurist to a second manicurist who did a mediocre manicure with absolutely no hand massage, cuticle oil, etc. Both my daughter and I were cut up to the point of bleeding, and I don’t know what they did to my manicure, but my fingers all hurt today after a dip manicure yesterday. I will never return to this place and will go back to my original stomping grounds which is pure Luxe nails in West Des Moines on 19th and Rail Road. I highly recommend pure Luxe. Sky nails is awful. if I could give it zero stars, I would.

We waited 20 minutes while we were soaking our ties in the water. I got out and went looking for help. My dip on index finger lasted two days before it popped off. 4 and five days later, two more nails chipped on the other two nails. I was definitely not happy with my manicure.

They cut both me and my partner (who faints at the sight of blood. It was not a good experience). I would not recommend going here unless you want to pay to get mangled fingers.

This was the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten, she made 6 of my fingers bleed and said I have sensitive cuticles and scolded me when I instinctively jumped when she caught my skin again. I showed the design I wanted before even starting my nails she said she could do it, then threw a tantrum and tossed my phone raising her voice and going off, so I chose an easier one to do to fix it and offered to just go plain and she insisted she would do the second design and proceeded to do whatever she wanted. Then even though I was bleeding and HATE my nails she charged me full price the woman that did my pedicure was fantastic though! Will NEVER ever go back here again. Wish I could post pictures of my bloody fingers and the SIMPLE line design I wanted in the first place.
