Noticed there were a lot of bad reviews. I came in last Friday to get solar nails. The owner put on my tips and apologized for my wait, which wasn’t a problem for me. Then the young man finished my nails. He was coughing a bit, but made sure to cover with his mask. Not sure if he was sick or just allergies. I know I have allergies and because of Covid wear a mask still. Even though fully vaccinated. When your nose runs and you cough, people still kinda freak out. Anyway, did a good job, except for cleaning under my nails. I still have quite a bit of stuff. But I am going back today with my daughter for a pedicure. Going to ask if they will clean them better. Will update my review after pedicure.

The last time I came to this salon was 6 years ago or so. I left so upset because the pedicure I received was awful. Nail polish on my skin and the rough nature of the massage made me contemplate leaving without paying.

Anna is amazing and that’s an understatement! I’ve been looking for a nail technician for a year now and all it took was one time for me to love Anna. She’s actually the new manager and from the looks of the place it has undergone major renovations and is so clean and organized now. As a young individual, Anna treated me with upmost respect and made me feel valued. Her work is amazing! She takes her time and doesn’t sway me to do something different or rush me. Highly recommend Anna!

What pedicure I’ve ever had. The lady didn’t attempt speak to me at all. She was rushed and trying to take the liner out of the water part while she aggressively rubbed my shin bone… Thankfully it was a very short massage because it was painful. When she put my foot into the wax she only covered the back half of my foot with wax. She walked away and started working on someone else… I guessed I was done and finished waiting for my daughter who also was getting a pedicure… Her’s was much better. There lady then came back later and aggressively pulled my pant legs off my leggings down without any warning and it hurt. TERRIBLE!!!!

The customer service is awful, I had to call on the person attending me for filing one of my natural nails too narrow, he was also sick, coughing, he did wash his hands before doing my nails but during the pandemic they should be more careful with their staff. I noticed the place needed some upkeep and a greeting and thank you would have been nice. I liked how my nails turned out at the end but the place made me feel uncomfortable throughout my stay.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI will never be coming back to Sky Nails because I have never been to such an unprofessional business. The gal doing my nails would not listen to me and kept pressuring me to “upgrade” to Shellac although I repeatedly told her I wanted a regular polish since I’m a nurse and would be taking it off after my brother’s wedding. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed my mustache waxed when I had never given her any indication that I wanted anything waxed. And after all of that, she made me pay before she would do my manicure and then kept pointing to the tip section on the receipt. To top it off, she did a horrible job on my nails. Not worth the insults or the money. The atmosphere was very beautiful! I didnt catch the name of my nail tech, but I though she was rude. The owner however when I was checking out examined my manicure and made sure it was to her standards before I left. I really appreciated that!
