I went to get my nails done a week ago today, went around 4 pm. My son was with me and he wasn’t crying through the whole pedicure. I got to my fill in and kid started cry quietly. The manager said “hush hush baby no cry here cry at home” this is absolutely disgusting. It was an innocent baby. Didn’t even offer anything. I had a beautiful design and it couldn’t be done and I had 2 workers doing my nails so I could get out asap. When I was paying she thought I didn’t speak Spanish and told one of the workers to say “next time come back without baby, baby blows away customer. This was the worst experience I ever had never will be coming back here.

So I have to tell everyone that today was my last time I ever step foot inside Joy’s( the owners) nail salon business after 10 years So today I went in for my manicure and pedicure appointment which Was @12 with a different lady but I was ok with it bc Joy’s suggested that my usually lady will tell her HOW to handle the ingrown nail (had an issue with my toenails because they get ingrown )so it takes a little more time than usual and the owner lashed out at me infront of the entire clientele that I should pay more because I take more time ( you never ever make a customer feel disrespected especially with everyone there listening. And she’s outloud saying she’s charging me more which i was fine with but you never talk money out loud!

Love this salon.. so glad I stopped in one day when doing my food shopping next door. Joy is very creative & talented at what she does!! Always great service, the place is very clean, & everyone here is very nice. They can get busy and appts may be a little later than scheduled which is to be expected for a popular business! I’d certainly prefer to wait a few minutes at a packed salon that clearly does very well, than to be in an empty salon which is never a good sign… Get your nails done here!!

But when I called, the person I talked to was so sweet so I went in and they did a wonderful job on mine and my moms nails. I had a good experience today with Alba. She wasn’t very talkative; but, I don’t mind that. She shaped my nails beautifully. I’m a waitress and use my hands a lot; so, I will put the nails to the test this week. As for the process in general, it was nice. My nails are pretty and even and it didn’t feel rushed. Just a note: Bring cash for a tip if you go here. There wasn’t a spot to write it in on my receipt at the end. I had to run the card for the tip separately—which I thought was strangest first— but not a big deal or a bad thing. Everyone was polite and friendly. There are a decent amount of nail colors to pick from. Alba even gave a short massage while my nails were drying in the machine. A gel manicure was $35 (before tip) and she also removed the remaining gel manicure from a few weeks ago from another salon.

Critical: Quality, ValueMy nails cost $85 I have NEVER!! It was $75 & they charged me $10 for removal of my set before. Not to mention i asked for a full set with SNS and was told they aren’t good at SNS because they don’t to do SNS often. So I then say a full acrylic set and they used some other product that I’ve never seen.. then i had to go back in after I left because my nails were crooked. And now they’re not the same length. Not to mention they’re lumpy because the gel polish was clumpy I guess from being old. I’m very dissatisfied and will NEVER go here again. Im going to try and share a picture so you can see why I’m so unhappy. Not $85 worth of work. You can’t see the lumpiness but you can feel it and see it in person. She did a very poor job on my feet and hands, I asked her to scrape my feet she said there fine, hello how about I’m the one paying for this. Left dirt in my nails, had to go home and clean them. Will not be going back Manicure, Pedicure
