At first our experience here was generally nice, people were pleasant. Pricing seemed a bit high but we left the salon feeling good and looking nice. It wasn’t until I went to wash that I realized how badly our hair had been heat damaged! Almost two months later and it’s not back and has a burnt smell every time I wash it! If you’re team natural like we were don’t go, your curls ain’t coming back after this. I just did a big chop.

My hair always on point, Jesy and her crew are the best. I been coming here for about 7 years now. They are amazing with perm or natural hair. Also if you want to transition your hair from relaxed to natural Sky Dominican Salon is the place to go. I AM IN AND OUT LESS THAN 2 HRS EVERY ⏲️ Very Clean and friendly environment.

My daughter has pretty thick hair & they had her looking like a whole new person when I picked her up! She loved her hair & so did I but the wait was a little long…it seems that if you leave your teen or young adult for service, they tend to take their time getting to them if the parent doesn’t sit & wait. Otherwise great service!!

Every time I leave this place, I’m usually pleased with my hair. The people are nice and they do a great job with trimming and styling your hair, However, it takes FOREVER. If you come here, be prepared to be in there for at least 5 hours. Haircut, Hairstyling

I normally enjoy this place, I was a little put off by the lady at the first station (not the owner but doing styling) assuming my hair was tangled and added a charge without even touching my hair. It was in an Afro but it was NOT tangled as I untangled and blew it out the night before….I won’t be petty and not pay it but not sure if I will return only because it was offensive.

I came in with very short virgin natural hair and asked for a relaxer, black dye rinse, and style. I was really nervous since my hair is very short, but the ladies were so sweet and let me know that they would work something out for me! And they did! I just want to thank the ladies at Sky Dominican Salon for styling my hair so well today. I came in with very short virgin natural hair and asked for a relaxer, black dye rinse, and style. I was really nervous since my hair is very short, but the ladies were so sweet and let me know that they would work something out for me! And they did! I’m new to the area and visited Sky based on the amazing reviews. I LOVED this salon, I’m from the NYC area and this is easily one of the best salons I’ve ever been to. Rosanna washed my hair both times I’ve gone and she does an amazing job with the right pressure. I have blow dried my hair with both Saylin and Yessenia – and both these ladies did a beautiful job. I love when I feel comfortable enough to do my hair with anyone in a salon and not have to wait for a specific person. These ladies are wonderful, super friendly and very entertaining. I went on a Friday after work hours and Sunday morning and both times I was taken in and they started washing my hair within 5 minutes and I was out in 2-2.5 hours! I will be coming back for sure.
