Skintherapy has saved my skin! I was painfully dealing with adult acne all through my 20s and thought I had tried everything. I’m so happy I didn’t give up and finally found this place. Everything is amazing, between the front desk service, the care during your extractions and peels, and their products! I love love love their products and will never go another day without them. Ya’ll – if you struggle with acne, GO HERE. When I tell you I was THIS CLOSE (super close) to taking accurate, I mean it. I signed iPledge and everything, I was so ready to just clear my skin. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I seriously owe the perfect state of my skin to the staff at Skintherapy Skincare & Acne Clinic! My first appointment was in November of 2021, and I suffered from extreme hormonal acne. I had tried everything under the sun from different skin-care brands, changing all of my makeup, to all of the medications from my dermatologist (excluding Accutane). I randomly found one of their before and after pictures on my Explore page on Instagram, and from there I booked my first appointment. I was not hopeful that anything would ever work for me, so I figured I could rule out this option if it didn’t work.

There are not enough words to explain my gratitude for this clinic. For about seven years I struggled with hormonal acne and was incredibly self conscious. There was no way I would leave my home without make up on no matter what, I would cancel plans with friends that involved overnight stay or swimming just in fear of anyone seeing my skin. I tried seeing dermatologists that would look at my skin for maybe 5 minutes and then prescribe a pill to take for months; never saw positive results. I’m not on any medication and it blows my mind that I rarely wear make up these days. And I get compliments about how nice my skin is! The staff is so nice and genuine as they will carefully assess your skin. Not only has my acne cleared, the texture of my skin has changed. I am so so happy with my results! I know the cost of products and service may seem intimidating at first if you’re used to buying drug store products, but that’s honestly why they didn’t work! Cheap and terrible ingredients for acne prone skin. The products from this clinic are clean and gentle. Completely worth the investment! & Consistency is key. Use the correct products recommended for your skin type, follow your routine, stay mindful of your nutrition and you will see results. Love Utah Acne Clinic!

this place is seriously the best! i had never struggled with acne up until last year, when i started getting a lot of hormonal acne. it started to really mess with my self confidence to the point i’d cry everyday because of it. i never wanted to leave my house or do anything and that just wasn’t me. i had gone to multiple dermatologists that put me on many different antibiotics, different doses of spironolactone and even topical skin care. none of it worked and they could never give me a clear answer to what was going on and what was causing it. i almost gave up and got on accutane until i finally found skintherapy back in march from a referral and i’m SO happy i did. my first appointment i walked out of there feeling confident they could help me get rid of my acne and i hadn’t felt like that in over a year. i was told it would take about six months to clear me up and i actually got the clear skin check in june! i finally feel like i have my confidence back and i love the skin i’m in for the first time in what felt like forever. i recommend this place to everyone and anyone struggling with any kind of acne! i’m so grateful for jil and all of the amazing staff there! ❤️
