Critical: Quality, ValueI’ve had a really terrible experience with my skin here and frankly never leave reviews but wanted to share for other people who might have acne and are considering a treatment. I did a microneedling session that one of the practitioners recommended to me, saying that it would greatly improve my skin texture and help with breakouts. After spending over $500, the result a couple months down the line is consistently some of the worst skin I’ve had within a decade of dealing with acne. My texture is a lot bumpier, redness and dryness has increased, and I’ve been severely breaking out. After a few calls to SkinScience I wasn’t able to reach anyone who would talk to me. They kept deflecting and saying they’d call back. This lasted for several weeks. Once I finally spoke with someone they were unequivocal about not refunding me. Instead they offered me a consult. In my view it’s unacceptable and essentially a scam to have a customer pay over $500 for something that not only kept their skin the same, but made it worse. Just putting this out there – while I’m sure lots of their treatments do help people, if it happens to do damage to your skin they will not help. I’ve had a really terrible experience with my skin here and frankly never leave reviews but wanted to share for other people who might have acne and are considering a treatment. I did a microneedling session that one of the practitioners recommended to me, saying that it would greatly improve my skin texture and help with breakouts.
