The manager/owner of this store literally verbally abused her employee in front of me. The owner didn’t see me standing in the store while she proceeded to threaten the young girl who was checking me out at the cash register. I then told the owner after she screamed at her employee that the cashier was helping me. She then said exact quote “well she can help other people.” Then, when I questioned if they were related the owner started screaming at me in her store front. I then asked the young girl if she was OK, she was visibly shaken standing by herself in the back. The owner then came after me screaming to leave her store. The way she (owner) said to me “I am the owner” basically was saying I can treat my employees however I want to in this store. I asked for a refund and she then slammed my stuff on the counter so loud that my husband standing outside thought she had slapped me and came running in to help. No one, in a working environment should ever be exposed to a manager like this as their employee. I am so upset about the entire thing I have never witnessed anyone treating another human like this especially in front of a customer and then turning around screaming at their customer. After my husband and MIL came in the owner then proceeded to scream at my husband and MIL running after us out the door. Please DO NOT shop at this store. We had literally just spent almost $100 there with in our family and the owner was so horrible to us. She’s an abusive person. I can not imagine how she treats her employees when customers aren’t in her store.

The customer service at this beautiful store is amazing. They were closed when we walked up, but a young lady heard us speaking and asked the owner to open the store for us. Her bath bombs and products are all hand made by her and just wonderful. If you’re in Galveston and in need of nice conversation, lovely bath products, and spa store ambiance you should stop by!

If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. Gina, the manager/owner is mean, rude, and refuses to be courteous or helpful to anyone who seems to be over the age of 40. My mom and I went in there and she was horrid to my mom. I’ll never go back, and neither will any of our family friends.

Great hand made products. The body spray is long lasting and the hand scrub/butters smell wonderful and leave your hands feeling soft. However I DO NOT enjoy shopping at the store the few times I’ve gone in there. The employees hover over you and push you to try things you’ve got no interest in even trying. They literally watch your EVERY move too. Like dude, I’m not here to steal your stuff so back off. Save yourself from feeling like a criminal or something and just order online.

Just bought a beard kit from here and it is fantastic. I felt I have to review this shop because the last couple of posts are obviously attacks on this small mom and pop shop. Visited this store while walking around the Strand. The employee was very helpful, and let me try out 4 of their bath products. I chose one that I believe is called bath dust. As soon as I got back to the hotel, I took a bath, and the bath dust is awesome! I got the rose scent, which had little dried rose petals in it. So my bath had pretty rose petals floating in it, which was very nice!

One of the only places I’ve found locally that makes a CBD product (the chill pill bath bomb) that actually does what it claims to do. I love their soaps too. Its a little more pricey, but worth the cost if you know what you’re looking for. I stock up on the African black soap pretty frequently as it’s helped get my “maskne” under control. With a lot of their products a little goes a long way, so you can really stretch your purchase. Definitely recommend.
