I’m a 34 y/o female who’s had acne since middle school. I’ve been going to Skinn Unique for a year now (seeing Kyla D. specifically), getting acne facials about every 4 weeks. I still have break outs, but my acne is the most under control I think it’s ever been; my skin texture is smooth and dewy and it has a radiant, healthy glow (which I was lacking prior to treatment). I have been taking my teenage son here for 1 year to treat his acne. Before coming here, we tried 3 other places and not one of those places helped him nearly as much as Skinn Unique Solutions. It is not easy to get a teenage boy to get facials and want to consistently come to appointments. However, Kyla has been amazing with him and has made appointments easy and stress free. I would give 100 stars it I could! After having a bad experience with someone who only cares about $$$ and didn’t seem to listen or care about me or my skin , I was so happy and relieved to find Kyla at Skinn Unique. A so called esthetician with the name similar to Shmarley Strue damaged my skin barrier by giving my super sensitive skin a very intense chemical peel that was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt in my life. When I loudly and vocally expressed my pain, I was made to feel like I was overreacting and just had a low pain tolerance, that it was normal and I was weak. The chemical peel ended up doing more harm than good but I was scared to ever do any facial treatments again. My skin never fully recovered, in fact my acne became even worse. Over time I became desperate as my acne became worse, so I made the decision to give another attempt at healing my acne, despite the fear I felt from my first experience. This is when I found Skinn Unique through Google. I felt hope when I saw review after review talking about how Skinn Unique helped people get their skin clear. These reviews seem different then reviews for other places, they seemed more genuine, more real. So I booked an appointment, and was very pleased when I met Kyla. She’s really helped me clear my skin and made it look the best it’s ever looked.
