While the couple times I’ve gotten in there in the past few years (not a “new patient”) the staff seemed reasonable enough (though not friendly I wouldn’t say), whatever is going on with management and scheduling is ridiculous. Never, NE.VER. have I called to make an appointment and gotten an actual human on the phone. I mean NEVER. And literally they seem to operate this way. The message pretty much says “don’t call us we’ll call you”! It’s something like “please leave your name… we will return your call in approximately 3 business days, do not call back and leave multiple messages.” I SWEAR it states this! And IF I get a call it once, and that’s it. Always at times of day when I am working because I HAVE A JOB for Christ’s sake. I returned THEIR call and have I heard back!? NOPE. That was probably 2-3 weeks ago now. I mean, come on! I have A HISTORY OF SKIN CANCER. At least leave me a message that says “sorry but we’re too busy to see you we recommend you go somewhere else” – at least be honest. I’m sure they have NO problem communicating and following up with all the rich women that go their for their botox (notice that many of the positive reviews below are from people getting facials). So now I have to contact my primary to get a referral somewhere else – wasting her time and mine, meanwhile who knows what is brewing on my skin! I should sue them if I have skin cancer again. Ridiculous.

I had an appt last week (with Nicole) and am very impressed with this clinic. She was quite thorough in evaluating my history and we decided I should put injections on hold for now. Despite the time she spent, they didn’t even charge me. It’s pretty refreshing to find a spa that puts their patient’s well-being above profit.

The absolute best place! Had acne all my life, seen dermatologist here haven’t had breakout since. Kristen in aesthetics does great work and is very knowledgeable. I tell her my problem areas and she makes a plan to correct it and I always love results and it’s never too much. I got injections done by a man here as well and he was great too! I loved my results but I can’t remember his name. I would definitely recommend skin smart they are truly the best!

If I could I would give them 10 stars!! Colleen and Dr. Alvira Kaplan are the best!! I was nervous when I got there however Colleen put my mind at ease and talked to me during the procedure to keep my mind off of what was going on. I really appreciated that!! They are very caring and would recommend them highly!!

The Skin Smart team are simply amazing! I have been receiving skin treatment for many years and am really happy with the results, my friends tell me I look great and my skin feels great. Dianne my aesthetician is wonderful. She is competent, warm and funny! I feels like I’m part of their family when I’m there. Great products also.

I was referred to this practice by my primary care physician and I am very disappointed. As a new patient experiencing an acute bout of hives, I was uncertain if I should see a dermatologist or an allergist. Now I am certain that I should have made an appointment with an allergist. Initially, I met with a PA, without any through questioning or testing I was told that the rash happens for an unknown reason and to take Zyrtec for a month. Next, my appointment was at 4:45pm and when I exited the examining room the practice was dark and there was no one at the front desk to check me out. I felt obligated to write this review. This visit was a huge waste of time and money ($40 co-pay).

I don’t recommend this practice. While the assistants have been helpful and attentive, the doctors are a mixed bag. The last one seemed like she just wanted to complete my visit in under two minutes or less. I actually don’t mind but she completely contradicted the doctor from my previous visit. Half of my visits to this place have been a waste of time. Each time I’ve gone to this practice, I got a subtle bad feeling in my gut. I should follow my instincts. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I received a facial by Jenna Brown on Friday and my skin is improving already! She really went the extra mile for me and made sure she did what was best for my skin concerns. I did the Sensi-Peel, which i recommend for oily, acne prone, sensitive skin and now I will make this a religious treatment. I already see a noticeable difference with smaller pores, new rejuvenated skin, and actually less oily as well. I went in with very damaged skin and heavy acne, she extracted and literally killed all the bad acne I had. I don’t even have scarring or anything and my skin is better than ever. I notice improvement each day with the mild peeling I have. I will definitely be going back for this facial treatment at-least once a month until my skin becomes 100%. I was also happy to see that my skin did not purge from this treatment, which is what usually happens to me. Definitely ask for Jenna for your next facial, you will not be disappointed.
