I longed for the day I could feel pampered and have my skin looking fresh and clean. As the weeks turned into months which turned into seasons my hope for a facial dwindled… That is, until I learned that Deborah of the Skin Maven was doing facials virtually. For a most reasonable price I learned Deborah would send products to my home and teach me how to do in-home facials. Cautiously optimistic, I booked a session.I realize now that what was really missing my whole life was the experience of having a skin care professional watch my home habits and help me improve upon them. It was like having a teacher in my bathroom, signing me off on my self-care skills. Following this appointment, my way of washing my face has been upgraded, the way I apply skin care products has been upgraded, and I feel much more capable and confident to take care of my skin for years to come.While I still long for an in-person facial, I truly believe this service is something that everyone interested in taking care of their skin should experience at least once in their lives. One of the things I have been missing most in 2020 is getting facials. I longed for the day I could feel pampered and have my skin looking fresh and clean.
