Sadly very disappointed with my experience at Skin Laundry. I specifically signed up for a membership due to my hyperpigmentation caused by recent pregnancy. In between my first few treatments , I was told that they just got new machines that were not suitable for pregnant and or breastfeeding patients. The nurses are great but management could care less about customers. I’m left with 3 unused laser credits because they refused to hold them for me until I’m done breast feeding in a few months. They expected me to keep paying a monthly membership fee in order to hold my credits even though I can’t be treated. The only recommendation they had was to use another laser service that would not address my skin concerns. After spending all this money, it is truly disappointing and frustrating to be meet with management who was unwilling to be accommodating to me during this period of breast feeding , even though they changed the equipment and terms of the service ! To top it all off , management didn’t even have the decency to come out and speak with me. Their business model leaves no room for quality customer service. How could I have known they would stop using the one laser that addressed my concerns. I should be getting refunded and instead I’m left with money spent and no treatment. Do not recommend.

My mom, Gloria Tabares, had a horrible experience at this Skin Laundry in West Hollywood. She is so demoralized and upset by what she experienced that she asked me to write a review on her behalf so that other potential customers don’t make the same mistake of coming here and fall for the membership deal. They basically take advantage of their customers who don’t speak English very well and get them to sign a contract with misleading information and then make it impossible to cancel. And after charging you hundreds of dollars on your credit card for treatments you did not receive, they will argue with you that there is absolutely nothing they can do because you signed a contract. They do not care about their customers and will not accommodate them in any way. And beware, they keep your credit card information in their system and will make charges to it without your authorization. Not to mention the face laser treatments that you get charged an arm and a leg for, take less than 10 minutes and don’t make any difference in your skin whatsoever. She feels like she got scammed badly.
