I cannot recommend this great small business enough! They have great products. I especially love how knowledgeable they are on what will be best for your skin type and tone. I’ve been t after hours events there that were fun, fancy, and relaxing. They really care about their clients and want to do things to make them feel special. I see Melissa and she is personable, polite, and kind. She makes the experience great! I’ve had her wax my eyebrows and sugar my underarms, lip, and chin. They were all very low pain. And it was my first to get each of those things done. I love that they confirm my appointments via email because I’m not always available to answer my phone. They also send a text reminder about your appointments. All things I love! Hope some day they’ll add spa services, especially massages, then I won’t have to go anywhere else for all my health and beauty care needs! Great place! Great people! Go see Melissa! You will not be disappointed!

The girls were very nice and pleasant to visit with. I’m a first timer here doing this.I had my lashes tinted and while it was being applied, my eye was getting quite Irritated which It still is and red. I’m sure it will get better shortly. Thank you ladies.

This was my first time visiting Skin Essentials. When I entered the business it was was well kept and clean. I was greeted and checked in quickly. It did appear that there was a staff meeting or something going on at the time of arrival and all of the seats in the waiting area were taken up by this group, none were offered to a waiting customer. This wasn’t a huge deal, I didn’t truly mind standing for a few minutes, but it was a little off putting. I booked a special promotion package that included a Sweet Retreat Facial and a Back Treatment. The booking website lists the service time as 105 minutes, however my service ended at just about 60 minutes. The service was good (would have liked a little more communication from the esthetician regarding what steps are being taken, products being used, etc as I am used to receiving at other spas) and I left feeling refreshed, though quite disappointed that my service ended 45 minutes sooner than stated. If I would have known it was only to be an hour session I would not have spent that amount of money.

I saw Melissa Hoefler for my first facial and it was the most relaxing hour I’ve had in years. Melissa did very well making me feel welcome and at peace in her space. She explained everything that she was doing- even the science behind the process so that I could better take care of my skin in the future. Regardless if I was coming back to her or not. Although I do not have sensitive skin, it was encouraging to see all the different options she had readily available to find exactly which product would work for me and my busy life style. I will definitely go again when I am in town.

Skin essentials has become my favorite go to beauty location. From the moment you walk in the door the customer service is exceptional. All of the ladies that work there are friendly and helpful. The decor is quirky , feminine and fun. The norvell spray tan from Angela is amazing and lasts longer than any spray tan I’ve had before and I’ve had hundreds!!! Sarah is incredible with her sugaring skills…. I was terrified of this hair removal process until I tried it; Sarah was so skilled, comforting and fast that I was in shock at the lack of pain. The pricing at skin essentials is far better than any other spa in Wichita and I honestly feel that with the skill set and environment at skin essentials they could charge double the money and it would still be fair. I am so excited I found this gem in quaint college hill and I cannot wait to try the rest of the services and products they offer!

I talked with Pam and she was amazing!! I had so many questions about natural make-up and she knew EVERYTHING!! She showed me how to apply it and exactly what to do. I also had my eyebrows done and love them!! She was more than helpful and I can’t say enough great things about my experience. I will definitely go back 🙂
