Wow! I had the best experience with SOPHIA KIM. She recently did my Botox and fillers. I found her work on IG and was very impressed with her technique, so I went and saw her. As a new patient to the office, I was a bit anxious coming in. But as soon as Sophia walked in the door, she instantly put me at ease with her calm and sweet personality. She genuinely cares for her patients and is incredibly knowledgeable at what she does. She has the perfect EYE for placement and has great attention to detail.

Sophia at skin detour is an artist! I found her through a Groupon deal of all things! I’m not one for “discount” med spas but was impressed with this office and Sophia’s skills as an injector. I have been all around the Beverly Hills/West Hollywood area for fillers/Botox and yet I have become a regular with Sophia @ skin detour. She has a great eye for what would look best on you & doesn’t give you a cookie cutter look. Her style is the natural & refreshed look versus the over-done Beverly Hills look. I was hesitant in writing this review as I don’t want to share her with anyone else but think that this review has been long overdue!!

First let me say for someone who is afraid of needles, Sophia went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and relaxed. Living and working in LA there is the constant pressure to look young especially when you your in your mid 30’s. The constant dark circles under your eyes or deep wrinkles I saw everyday, also made me super self conscious. My other fear of looking “over done”was quickly addressed as my procedure gave me the most natural look I could ever wish for. Looking forward to my next appointment as I know I’m always in great hands with Sophia at Skin Detour… this photo was just taken a few weeks after my last procedure and couldn’t be happier with results.

After multiple sessions of laser resurfacing, I can vouch that my scarring is completely gone (please see attached picture).
