She uses safe products on the nails and I appreciate that so much. I also experienced massage services with Amber. She is amazing at really giving a wonderful, deep body massage. She is attentive to the needs of your body and is very aware of the areas that would need “extra care”. The salon is clean. The ladies are professional. They have taken precautions to ensure that they are providing a safe space for us during this COVID pandemic time frame. I thoroughly enjoyed the pedicure and manicure services provided by Beverly, the nail technician at Skin Body Zen. She uses safe products on the nails and I appreciate that so much. I also experienced massage services with Amber. She is amazing at really giving a wonderful, deep body massage. She has a wealth of knowledge about skin care and recommended a skin care routine specifically for me. I’m so excited to start using the products she recommended. I also received a hair cut from Kelly! And I’m so in love with my new look. I have curly hair, so have had some challenging experiences with hair stylists in the past because my curls are unpredictable. I felt heard and knew that I could absolutely trust Kelly! She has a wealth of knowledge about skin care and recommended a skin care routine specifically for me. I’m so excited to start using the products she recommended. I also received a hair cut from Kelly! And I’m so in love with my new look. For many years, stylists have resisted giving me the cut I’d ask for, which are bangs. They always had an excuse: My hair just didn’t grow that way, it’s the wrong texture, just couldn’t be done. Kelly has been so successful in cutting my bangs – they stay put and don’t even split!My hair is very straight, and I love color and cutting edge styles. Kelly is willing to take chances because she’s so skillful. She is creatively open minded, and makes my hair work for me, not against me. She thinks about my hair before I even show up for my appointment, which makes me feel very special. For example, she picked out the PERFECT hair color, “Poison Berry,” which feels like it was made just for me! It fits my look and personality. She has lots of cool suggestions to change up my hair style, and they always work!A visit with Kelly feels like visiting a really good friend. On top of being a master stylist, she is a great listener too!Skin Body Zen is a hidden jewel in Brisbane! It’s a new, very clean, and sophisticated salon/day spa with no pretension to speak of. Everyone, from the front desk to Amber, the owner, are warm and welcoming. Amber also took a last minute appointment for waxing. She, too, is a master at her craft. My brows are fraternal twins, not identical, and she’s done a fantastic job at evening them out.
