As always, I had another great experience at Sizzors Salon. Every time I leave there in a better mood, and I have yet to be disappointed by the clean atmosphere and talent of the staff. I hardly ever write reviews but supporting small businesses is so important and if you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond to make sure your satisfied with your service, you found it. This experience was from a while ago, but still I would like to warn people with curly hair. Never let a stylist from here touch your hair if it even has a slight curl. I came in with dry hair, so the stylist obviously knew what hair type I had. I asked her multiple times if she knew how to cut and handle curly hair and she said yes. She then cut my hair and I knew something felt off, but I didn’t realize what a huge mistake I made going there until I got home. My hair dried and revealed that she actually gave me layers – not one time did I ask for layers- and my hair was cut in a ‘W’ not even a ‘V’ shape. The pieces of hair in the middle of my head were up to my neck while the ones near my shoulders reached halfway to my elbow. I was so upset and cried for days. I am never coming back here and neither should anyone who has curls. They lied saying they could handle my hair and obviously cannot. Like I said, this was a while ago, but my hair is still growing out from their mistake.

Came in looking for a quick trim and some layers/face-framing pieces. Shea is so lovely and nice, but unfortunately my haircut was the choppiest and chunkiest layered hair I have ever seen. I wore my hair literally in a ponytail/bun because i was so embarrassed to have it out. The shortest face-framing layers literally become shorter in the middle like an upside V when it’s down. Disappointed in it and will not be coming back.
