I called the day before. Last minute before leaving on vacation. Wanda was able to get me in. I really loved the color and cut. It really saddens me that I may not be able to come there again. I just got my first haircut at Sizzors, and it’s the best haircut I’ve gotten in a decade. Beckie, the owner, did it. I brought in a picture of what I wanted, and she did it perfectly — with a few suggested tweaks that improved the look. She also made helpful suggestions about hair care and styling and provided a special hair treatment for a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely be going back! It was a great experience, and Beckie was super warm and welcoming.

Sizzors is a wonderful salon with an amazing staff! I have been going there for 8 years and have never had a bad experience. I’ve had a wide variety of services done, including haircuts, color, eyebrow wax, massages, manicures, and pedicures…they were all fabulous! I like it so much that I travel from Kansas City every time I need a haircut or any service done! I’ve recommended this salon to several friends and family members and they have all loved their experience as well!

Don’t get your nails done here. Got my nails painted with gel polish the weekend before my wedding(as one does so they are fresh and nice looking for pictures). My wedding is on 6/22/19. I got my nails done on 6/15/19. It is currently 6/17/19 and six out of ten nails the polish is cracked(like a rock hit your windshield cracked), 3 of the nails, the polish is coming up at the base already and two of them, the corner of the nail is completely unpainted. I didn’t get acrylics because I have been growing my nails out so they look natural for the wedding. Part of me thinks that its a good thing I didn’t waste my money on acrylics because I don’t trust that they would have looked good, but part of me wonders if I had gotten acrylics that the gel polish wouldn’t have cracked after TWO DAYS! I called the salon to see if I could get in and get them fixed before I have to leave for my WEDDING out of the state. I have literally 3 evenings available but I work 8am-7pm all of these days and quite honestly, I was not expecting to have to get my nails RE-DONE after TWO DAYS! Like with how they are chipping and cracking, I might as well have used some cheap nail polish from my house. Here’s what I DO understand. When I called to see if I could get them fixed, they offered me 9am, 10:30am, and 6:30pm. I understand that my schedule is crazy this week. None of those times work for me. How is it fair that I should have to take off of work, though, to lose money, to get my nails RE-DONE when I planned my manicure at the SPECIFIC time that EVERYONE says to get them done and THEY messed it up? I shouldn’t have to sacrifice my hours because of their mistake. Weddings are expensive, ya know? And I’m not made of money and planning and paying for this has been REALLY hard and its difficult to leave work for a reason I never should have had to leave for. Because I planned it. Down to a tee. End of rant.
