I know my hair is slightly damaged from heat products. Despite this, Mary was able to carefully lighten my hair with minimal damage. This is my second time having Mary dye my hair and I really appreciate her focus, passion, patience, and grace. It was over 4 hours of work for ombré with a haircut and my hair looks great!

Absolutely fantastic salon! I have been getting my hair cut and colored here for a few years. Roxanne knows exactly how to work with my curly hair and is so wonderful at explaining curl maintenance and styling tips. I also get my brows waxed here, and Mary always does a great job. Six east was a welcoming and charming shop in downtown Frederick. They were able to accommodate a last minute appointment request from me on a Saturday and I had an excellent haircut and blowdry from Mary. Pricing was really great for the area, especially as they factor in gratuity. I appreciate that convenience a lot! I also appreciate the first timer goody bag of products and coupons. Recommend!

my friend went to get her hair done recently so i tagged along, the atmosphere was absolutely horrible. the owner, roxanne, was verbally degrading to some of her employees which isn’t a good look for an owner. the hair was fine, but considering the owners personality, i wouldn’t want to be giving them any of my money. especially considering how high the cost of the service is without being able to tip the stylists. they better be getting paid 40+ an hour to put up with the horrible management.

Love this place! I was having so much trouble with styling my short hairstyle before a company party and Marcee helped bring it back to the way I’ve always envisioned it! She also talked me through the whole process as she cut and styled my hair so I could learn how to style it at home, and I feel much more confident in the way I look. Highly recommend!!
