I went here for 2 years, and didn’t have a bad experience. I switched salons after moving. They believe that six degrees was using blue splat on my hair, after many attempts to remove the color. What is not to love about this Salon! Everything is top notch. My Stylist, Reilly was friendly, professional, caring and gave me a great cut/color & blow dry. The view is the best in Portsmouth and the salon is meticulously maintained. To my surprise at checkout, there was no tipping allowed per the Owner. The Stylist was very supportive of this as she noted “What great care the Owner takes in caring for the Staff” and that “She wouldn’t work anywhere else”. I stumbled upon this spot as I needed services on a Tuesday afternoon and was so delighted with the whole experience. I will definitely be back to visit this Uniquely fabulous Salon again!!!

Have been to this salon twice. First was to get a “curly girl” haircut and then to get a facial. The staff is fabulous, friendly, approachable, and professional. The location in downtown Portsmouth is on the second floor and a wall of windows overlooks the ocean. I’ve had “curly girl” cuts in the past and this one was right up there with the best. It’s a special haircut for naturally curly hair and the technician has to be specially trained. Price was very reasonable and when I tried to tip, she said “no tipping lease”. They build their business on referrals. My facial was a concentrated Vitamin C brightening.I could not believe my skin when done. Felt smooth and actually glowed. I was thrilled and will be back for another in a couple months. Nothing negative about 6 Degrees…week!
