They were all kind! so sweet, but my braids were done poorly. The length was correct, but they were bulky at the top. Kind of like the predator. She asked for $315, it was not worth it. $175 for this would STILL be too much. My hair wasn’t tucked at all, and they cut it out of the braid to make it look somewhat neat. The style would have been prettier if they were less bulky.

Highly disappointed. Showed picture of a braided mohawk, individuals in the middle and cornrows on the side. Was told she could do the style. My parts were so off that it didn’t look like the cornrow design she said she could do, I also told her I wanted my braids to be the size in the picture but she made him bigger, I would not be surprised if I don’t have edges, and she has $10 coupons on her business cards but choose to not honor it because my fee was just $20 from $200 which the coupon doesn’t say you have to get a style over $200 or it’s only for a full set of individuals. Ridiculous service. Plus the lady helping out started a girl hair on her way to her 8th grade dance, said she could do it and kept doing the style wrong and had to keep restarting. After a hour she tell the girl and mother she can’t do the style and she have to leave so just get two goddess braids which she didn’t want. The girl left with no hair style and had to get to her dance in 2 hours. I was hurt for her. Will not recommend at all.

I asked for 16 individual long braids instead I have more braids plus they are small I hate how my hair looks I would never go back or refer anybody to these people instead of her cutting the fly always and just dip my braids she burned them so my braids stick to everything which is so annoying smh the only reason I paid $140 is because my Mother’s memorial and balloon release was that same day I got my hair braided 4th of July weekend and it’s time for this mess to come out already not to mention I have a event coming up and I can’t go with my hair looking like this I won’t trying to do all this but right is right and wrong is wrong everybody is experiencing hard times right now but not that hard you gotta take advantage won’t move good luck come from any of that …….. DO BETTER

I made an appointment and when I came for that appointment the shop was locked so I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come and start on my hair. AND the woman next to me asked for one specific style and they totally ignored her and did a different style on her and she was not happy. Okay Sooooo I wanted knotless medium braids and I received them, but that was too long of a journey. I made an appointment and when I came for that appointment the shop was locked so I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to come and start on my hair. They are quick and braids are lovely the 1st week. Then the braids start coming out. I got my braids on March 2nd. I had to get one on the side and many in the back re-done but she skipped some and left open hair. For $180 I expected it to last a month minimum. The redone braids have my hair sticking out of them and aren’t the same size. The new ones in the back are cornrows and clearly look different. I will not be repeating this experience ever.

The only African shop I go to in Richmond! She is the best! I have been supporting her for over 10 years now and when I take my braids out my hair is always healthy and the growth of it be amazing! No disappointments at all! Matter of the micros in my head was done by sisters I just took my Senegalese out that lasted for 4 months.
