I wandered into Sis Nails awhile back and immediately noticed the quiet, almost meditative atmosphere. I’ve been back several times. A lot of nail salons I’ve gone to in the past are sort of noisy places with lots of conversation going on. Not that conversation is a bad thing. It is just that I like quiet and meditative when getting a manicure and/or pedicure. The women who work at Sis Nails work diligently and when you are in the chair, they pay kind and unwavering attention to you. After all that quiet, meditative, kind attention, I leave the place feeling calm and well-cared for. And, to boot, the job they do is precise and smooth and well done.

I’m so happy I found this nail studio after moving to Walnut Creek. The studio is immaculate, and the staff is courteous and talented. My nail specialist is very meticulous. Walked into the salon and was asked, “how may help you?” I said yes I’d like a pedicure, please. The Tech advised me to take a seat. Then they began speaking in a foreign language while looking at me. Then one tech advised, “I’m sorry were booked.” If you were completely book you would have advised me once I walked in. Please be advised this is not a “Sis” salon and this Asian salon should be ashamed of how they treat ppl of color.

I was in town for a few days visiting family and desperately needed a manicure. Based on reviews, I booked an appointment ahead of time online + sure enough they came to the rescue! Not only is the salon new and beautiful, but it’s very clean. I felt very safe the whole time, plus my gel manicure was impeccable. Great energy, conversation and overall an amazing experience.
