Janet is a rock star. I first went to Janet when she was working at Tailored Hair for Men downtown. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. I walked in and asked Janet to do her thing and she crushed it. I’ve gotten several compliments over the two years Janet has been taking care of me. As if that’s not enough, then there is Janet herself. She’s got such a good attitude. Her happiness and positivity is contagious. I look forward to my appointments with Janet because in addition to a great cut, I feel great as well. Whether it’s tarot card readings or cleansing my aura, Janet knows just what I need.

My experience here was horrible. the barber was rude, cold, and standoffish. She was unwelcoming, cold, and could barley bring herself to speak to us. I suppose this could have been fine if she knew how to do a fade. she ruined my oldest sons hair and the photos of the fade he got are laughable. I cant think of any other reason she was so rude and arrogant besides that we are not white. I suppose we didn’t fit the demographic she was hoping to attract. I’m not sure how one is a barber but cant do a simple high fade. At one point my two year old asked for the bottle of water sitting out, and she didn’t even offer to sell it me. it was such an awkward and uncomfortable experience. Its obvious we were not welcome so will not be returning.
