Simplicity Laser is a great place to consider for laser hair removal!! I go to the location in Prairie Village. The receptionist Lilly is always very accommodating and sweet! All the techs are professional and kind as well. I go for my face and neck and have seen amazing results in the 9 months I’ve been going. It takes time but you definitely will see results. They also always have deals going on, which is how I’ve been able to afford my membership for so long it was so helpful!

I’ve been going here for easily 4 years…well previously the Overland Park location until it transitioned to this location. Suddenly they have changed their policies on sun exposure to an impossible time limit for the season. I kindly asked to speak with a manager where I continued to say I am comfortable with continuing the service and have never had an issue in the past, was willing to sign a waiver to waive liability for blisters or reactions, manager said that document did not exist , even though it likely is in my contract that they assume no liability for reaction etc., and refused to treat me and said “we’re trying to keep you safe.” I’m sorry, but that is not YOUR job to make decisions for me. If I am assuming the liability and willing to take any initial risks, then you should respect my decision. I’m seriously disappointed in the new management and the way I was disrespected.

The worst experience waste of time and money. There is someone new every appointment I go to. None of them follow the same procedure. Due to illness, death, being on antibiotics from a spider bite, a house fire and a single mom with 2 boys, I’ve missed a few appointments. Rescheduling is a joke and nearly impossible. Out of an 18 month contract I’ve had 5 treatments when the average range is 12-14 treatments. Also I’ve not been satisfied with results so I requested a copy of my file. For over a year I’ve brought it up to more than one tech that I thought my progress would have been further along and I was offered 4 months roughly 3 treatments at no cost. I would never recommend this place. Some way to treat people with a “membership”. Do not go!!

I had many friends go to the OP location and so I signed up! I had 1 session before the OP office closed; was told it was a 60-90 day closure. WRONG. Here I am 13 months later driving to PV. My experience has not been enjoyable. Would not recommend. The constant change in staff, rules, scheduling is just a mess. I’m trying to cancel my membership due to pregnancy and it’s literally the worst experience. They want to freeze my contract for 11 months and then finish my contract of 4 months…what a joke. Avoid this place!!!

Steer clear of this business!! It’s a scam!! I’ve been a customer for about 2 years now. Yes, they provide services, but the results are not permanent. At first, the staff is very accommodating with getting your appts. scheduled. After your appt is finished is when you would normally schedule your next appt. After a few visits with no issues with scheduling, the staff at most times would say their system was “having issues” and they would be unable to schedule your next appt. Their staff makes no effort to call you when their system comes back up to schedule your appt. and trying to call them takes forever to get through to a real person. I’m sure they hoped you would forget, so you didn’t get all of the sessions you were supposed to get during your one-year membership agreement. Then when your membership is complete their staff will tell you there is an option to continue your membership at a standard rate and you can cancel at any time. They do not mention you have to cancel in writing and they would continue to collect payment. Their communication skills are horrible. Save yourself the headache and money it’s not worth it!! I’ve found a place closer to home that is comparable in cost without the membership fee and has better client results.

Really pathetic customer service. The fact that they keep you waiting for 10+ minutes and want to charge you over $20 for being 4 minutes late is unreal. They clearly have zero interest in serving customers, and are just looking for any way possible to not do their job.

I’ve been coming here for a year and 4 months. I liked it and I moved up north and chose to keep my membership because the techs are usually fast and friendly. I am one of those people that usually run about 5 min late due to the 30-40 min commute from up north to all the way down to PV but I always call or text and let them know and it’s never been an issue before. Today was different. I was excited about my appt because I was going to add 3 new areas and when I arrived, the receptionist (someone I’ve never seen before) told me that since I was 7 min late, even though I text them to give them a 30 min heads up, they wouldn’t be able to treat all of my 3 small areas. Usually all 3 of my treatments take 2-3 min so that seemed strange to me. The receptionist just seemed rude and gave off a bad vibe as she didn’t even greet me or look at me when I walked in. I wanted to make management aware of this because one small thing like this can change someone’s mind completely and instantly. I’ve decided to find a new hair removal place up north. I’ll finish my treatments here but I won’t be purchasing anymore areas at this company. Please make your clients who CHOSE you out of all the competitors feel welcome and appreciated not like a burden or inconvenience. Otherwise they will leave and go elsewhere. Thank you!
