Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueDuring my search for a salon to cater to the needs of me, my bridal party, and the mothers, I am so happy that we picked Simplicity A Salon! In deciding whether to hire an individual or to have everyone go to a salon, this was by far the best choice I made in wedding day preparations. Cindy was incredibly flexible and responsive to all our needs and made sure the day went smoothly.In leading up to the big day, I worked with Cindy to fine-tune the services that would be provided to the ladies of the wedding. Since we were a group of 8 people, we were opted into the bridal package- this definitely alleviated any stress I had about timing and quality service. In the weeks before the big day, Cindy had us send over pictures of hair style looks and makeup looks so that the stylists would be prepared for the service. Additionally, I highly recommend doing at least one hair and makeup trial too, because a stylist will be better equipped for the real deal. (Shout out to Kayla for helping me find the perfect look!).On the actual day, we were met with positivity and warm welcomes, as well as a spread of bagels, cheese, fruit, tea, mimosas, etc. It was an excellent touch when going with the bridal package, and made all of my ladies feel relaxed and pampered 🙂 Due to the size of our party, there were approximately 5 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists on staff to accommodate all our needs. While I knew this staff size would make the overall morning feel relaxed, I was also comforted knowing that many stylists would be working with our group, and that they would not tire out (i.e. the hair styling and makeup wouldn’t suffer sine the “workload” was spread out among several staff members). They also wrapped up our reservation ahead of schedule (excellent news for any bride!), and made sure our hair and makeup was secure and well placed.Going into the evening, all of my ladies hair styles and makeup kept up with the energy, dancing, and time in the sun (for our outdoor August ceremony). While many brides complain of how long it takes for their hair to be taken down, my hair was super easy to disassemble.Lastly, I want to highly recommend my stylist for the day, Kayla, who did an amazing job with me and my ladies. She was a pleasure to work with and made me feel at east for the whole process- she is the perfect companion for any bride’s big day. The second time I walked in the door, they knew my name before I even had to tell them. Every person there is incredible. My hairstylist, Melissa, is the best person I have ever been to. She takes the time to get to know you and what you want — and does exactly as you envision. The salon is beautiful, welcoming, professional and comfortable. I live 40 minutes away and it is more than worth the drive. The staff is amazing. The second time I walked in the door, they knew my name before I even had to tell them. Every person there is incredible. My hairstylist, Melissa, is the best person I have ever been to. She takes the time to get to know you and what you want — and does exactly as you envision. The salon is beautiful, welcoming, professional and comfortable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
