I had an appointment today at 1:30 and I called to see if they could see me earlier and they told me to come right on in. I had a haircut with Blair and I absolutely love how my hair looks healthy again! Blair is amazing and so sweet! I felt very welcomed and I’m looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks. I’m new to the area and needed to find a salon, so I came here due to the great reviews. I had an appointment today at 1:30 and I called to see if they could see me earlier and they told me to come right on in. I had a haircut with Blair and I absolutely love how my hair looks healthy again! Blair is amazing and so sweet! I felt very welcomed and I’m looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks. I’m new to the area this was the only place that could get me in asap for my 4 year old son and it had great reviews. Apparently the reviews were old or only based on female hair beauticians? I saw a sweet older man but he can NOT cut hair. I asked for a bald fade and to take a little off the top and this is what my son was sent home with. How did he possibly look at him and think “yea this is IT”

Critical: ProfessionalismThis could be a very good salon. I called twice and left voice messages that I was new to the area and need to establish a new salon. No one called back. I called a third time. A woman answered asked if I could hold a minute, I said yes. Thirty minutes and twenty-four seconds later a man answered and I confirmed that it was the salon. I told him I had just moved to the area and was looking for a new salon but after sitting on hold for over thirty minutes it wasn’t going to be them. Can you blame me?This could be a very good salon. This could be a very good salon. I called twice and left voice messages that I was new to the area and need to establish a new salon. No one called back. I called a third time. A woman answered asked if I could hold a minute, I said yes. Thirty minutes and twenty-four seconds later a man answered and I confirmed that it was the salon. I told him I had just moved to the area and was looking for a new salon but after sitting on hold for over thirty minutes it wasn’t going to be them. Can you blame me?

I went to this salon twice and loved the girl who did my hair. Unfortunately this week I called to get something different done and she was no longer working there. I agreed to go to someone else. I wanted blonde balayage and my roots touched up, a trim and for her to thin my hair out. My “blonde” is orange. And she did not cut my hair the length I asked, I had to remind her four times to thin it. She did a completely different color on my roots and said I would have a dark band around the top because the color she put on my roots was lighter than the color I originally had. So instead of matching my previous color she just picked whatever color brown she wanted. I paid $165 and was literally fighting tears tinge l realized how bad my hair looked. I will NEVER go back here again. I would not recommend to anyone. This salon is more worried about appearance of the salon than they are about the quality of their work and completely overpriced. The two hours I was there all the employees were in the back giggling and talking and I heard the phone ring at least 6 times in my time there and they wouldn’t answer because they were too busy talking. Terrible experience.

I usually do not write reviews, unless I have something nice to say but, after giving it a lot of thoughts, I have decided to voice my opinion on the service I have received. I made an appointment for a haircut and a color retouch during the week of Christmas. My bill came to a total of $ 93, including the 20% tip I left for the hairstylist. After going home, a friend came to visit and I told her I had my hair color retouched that day at the Splendor Salon. She was very surprised because, after looking at my hair, she realized that my hair still had a lot of white spots all over. After looking in the mirror, I was appalled at the fact that, after spending 93 dollars, my hair stll had a lot of white patches all over.

I LOVE this salon!! They are professional while also being fun! I always feel comfortable, and I leave feeling pampered! Roni’s color skills and style skills with curly hair are invaluable to me! She’s really improved my look from the first time she got her hands on my head to now!!
