The salon was clean, well maintained, and had plenty of natural and artificial light, giving the salon an inviting feel. All customers and staff were wearing masks at all times – a much appreciated detail. Kim was very welcoming, friendly, and down to earth, and she did an excellent job at cutting and styling my hair. It was very kind of her to compliment my hair. I felt valued, instead of being treated as just another customer. I will be back the next time I want my hair cut. Today was my first time going to Silver Scissors. The salon was clean, well maintained, and had plenty of natural and artificial light, giving the salon an inviting feel. All customers and staff were wearing masks at all times – a much appreciated detail. Kim was very welcoming, friendly, and down to earth, and she did an excellent job at cutting and styling my hair. It was very kind of her to compliment my hair. I felt valued, instead of being treated as just another customer. I will be back the next time I want my hair cut. Kim is the sweetest person ever and made sure my hair was right, no matter how long it took. She stayed after hours for me, gave me endless compliments, and made sure I got to my car safely. I will definitely keep coming back 🙂

My Family and I have been coming here for over 20 years! Kim the Owner works as a stylist in her Salon. She knows each and everyone of her regular clients personally. She treats everyone with respect. Not only is her personality great, but she knows how to cut, color, style, braid ( whatever you want) all types of hair. I have naturally curly hair, like her, and she knows exactly how to cut it. My Son will only allow Kim to touch his hair. Extremely reasonable costs. I will suggest that It’s better to make an appointment than to just walk in. Even though Kim will take walk-ins, since she’s busy it’s better to call ahead. She will work with you though. Also, she has another Stylist there. I’ve never had her cut my hair, but I’ve seen her work, and she’s amazing. Kim and her shop are truly a gem!!

I used to go to Silver Scissors years ago when I lived nearby. I loved their service and the people. I moved further away and could never find another salon near me that I was able to get a great cut, style and color and that treated me so well. I have since moved back to the area and I have my favorite salon back!!! I had a recent back surgery and when I called to make my appointment, Kim even opened early to accommodate me so I would get in and out fast since I was unable to sit for long periods of time. She not only gave me a great cut, but one that would be easy for me to do while recovering from surgery. I am so happy to be able to go back to Silver Scissors where the atmosphere and people are friendly, accommodating and always make me look and feel beautiful! Kim and her staff are amazing!!!

I was welcomed as a new customer, told ms Kim what I was looking for, showed her a picture ( for color/ highlights) and she made some suggestions. I put myself in her hands and got exactly what I was looking for! I have to go back now for a cut, and with very thick hair it’s not easy …. but I’m sure ms Kim will do a great job! More to come….

I just moved to pemberton and I was so afraid to trust a new hair stylist to cut my hair. I researched hair salons near me and silver scissors had the best reviews so I decided to give it a try So I called an made the appt and the girl who answered the phone was so nice and friendly. When I got there I was instantly acknowledged with a warm welcome by mrs kim the owner who also cut my hair. Mrs kim was super nice and friendly and did an amazing job on cutting my hair. I was so happy that I gave silver scissors a try I will def be getting all my cuts by mrs kim going forward. I highly recommend silver city hair salon to anyone that wants a great hair cut along with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Their prices were also great!!! -Bobby

I had heard good things about Silver Scissors in the past and saw great hair from there. I decided to give them a try. Today I wanted a haircut maybe so highlights. When walking in they have a sign $10 haircuts. I assumed this was a special buy not their only service today. What I got was a $10 haircut and not even offered a services about that. Now I have to go get a real haircut some where else. The place was very dark and drab. There were 3 other women getting their hair done for a special occasion. On line they boast they cater to you for your special day. They were catered with doughnuts and orange juice. Sometimes Hair Cutters gets a bad wrap but I have had many good experiences there. I will not return here. I was very disappointed with the $10 haircut.
