First time patient. Happy with the quality of service. Matt was professional, willing to answer questions and provide information but not waste any of his (or my) time. Other staff (Katie & Jenny) pleasant and helpful. Office building is a bit older, but I would rather the resources be spent on patient care than a fancy expensive office suite.

I had a pretty terrible experience here overall. When I originally made my appointment I was placed with a specific doctor that I was assured was in my network. I told the person in the clinic I was only willing to come in if I was covered. She called my insurance to double check, called me back, said we were good to go (insurance wise) and that I could book an appointment. I waited over a month to see this specific doctor. I came in a couple times, did not receive the help I needed, and moved on. Over a year later they sent me a bill for over $300. I called the clinic and they told me they dug through some of their old files/closed out accounts and found some visits that weren’t actually covered by insurance (???????) over a year ago. I told them I didn’t think it was right for them to be assuring people their visits would be covered by insurance (even go so far as to call the insurance company), place them with a provider based upon that info, bill them out as if they’re covered, tell them they’re paid up, then over a year later create a bill for over $300. That doesn’t seem right to me in the least. I am not paying this bill and obviously will never be back to the clinic. People already get taken advantage of far too much in the medical field and this is inappropriate billing.

Several years ago, I was referred to this office but they never found why my skin was so intolerably itchy on torso, waited very long times after arriving for a every one of several appts. The last one there was a strong repelling smell in the patient room they left me in that might have been from refinishing floors, but no ventilation, so I finally told them after waiting a long time I couldn’t take it any longer. Later, another referral sent me to a different clinic with a doctor who did diagnose the problem and a simple solution. I would not recommend this office. Staff is rude and unconcerned about clients.

The new office staff with Matt Rand as Derm. Specialist are great from office staff to the assistant to Matt Rand himself. Vlad’s shoes are hard to fill but I feel Matt Rand doing it well.Thorough , thoughtful, and caring.I feel like he’ll solve my issue after 6 wks. Being treated at another clinic. My husband also had a positive experience with Matt!! Welcome to the Olympic Peninsula! Hope you find your home niche and stay a longgggg while! Thank you!!!

I’ve had a wonderful time at this clinic. Jenny, MA has been especially helpful. She is always kind and provides exceptional service when I come in for an appointment. She is a pleasure to interact with and she helps make the experience very comfortable. She is an exceptional member of the Silver Falls Dermatology team.

I’ve been going to Silver Falls in Port Angeles for a couple of years now, and I’ve found all employees to be professional. I wanted a male practitioner, and Silver Falls fit the bill, too!

My wife went in for a dermatology appointment at the Port Angeles office three months ago. She had a spot on her back that the Dr. was concerned about so they took a biopsy and told her they would get back to her with the results. She called a week later and left a message and no one called her back. THREE MONTHS had passes and they called with a question about billing. She mentioned that they hadn’t even gotten back to her about the biopsy results. The next day the doctor called saying it was cancerous, but “luckily it is slow growing”. I hope so when you don’t even contact your patients about positive results and three months have passed. The Dr. Vlad told her they had a surgeon coming in on Sunday to do procedures and set her up with an appointment. We showed up on Sunday and the office was closed. No phone call or anything.

I had a good experience at my first visit with this office with Dr. Kari & Jerri, as her assistant. Both were very pleasant and professional. It was a simple check. I do agree that phoning them can be complicated when you get the Oregon office instead. Be persistent!
