The most amazing shop anywhere near Cincinnati, period. Great atmosphere, amazing work, and incredible staff. Kevin B is my go-to artist and never, ever disappoints. My most recent trip ended in a dragon on my thigh that should’ve taken 6 hours over 2 visit, but only took 3 hours and one visit. If you want a tattoo, you need to go to SWT. Love you guys!

I never have any issues making appointments front desk is amazing, my artist Mindy is always listening to what I want and gives sound advice as to what would work not work or look appeasing to the eye etc. They all really take great pride in only giving you % every single time. Your not going to get one time and 50 another time. Work is always spot on and unique to each customer. I’ve gotten 5 from Mindy 2 being very large pieces and I’ve never gotten a bad opinion on any tattoos. My other half has started his own work with Mindy as well and we both will never go anywhere else

I had a great experience and recommend Devin Spenny and Silkworm Tattoo for an awesome restoration of my Marine Corps Tattoo from 1992. It turned out even better the second time and was better than expected. These guys do quality work they maintained a safe environment with social distancing and everyone used mask. It was a fun atmosphere.

I emailed this shop a photo of some tattoos I wanted to get redone on my forearm by Rick. I live about 40 minutes out but wanted Silkworm because they had done a beautiful tattoo on my friend. The person who responded to my email said they could “absolutely” fix my tattoos. When I arrived for my consultation, Rick spoke to me for approximately 3 minutes. He hadn’t bothered to look at the email or photo and immediately told me he wouldn’t re-do them, only cover them. I initially agreed, and that was the whole consultation. No questions about the style I wanted it in, placement, etc. It was extremely unprofessional and honestly just really annoying. I’m glad I didn’t end up sitting with that guy for several hours getting tattooed; not my idea of a good time. This review deserves to contain a healthy sprinkle of expletives, but I’m not sure google allows it.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityDon’t use Rich!! He doesn’t care about people’s tattoos or his job. He’s mediocre at best and draws something that looks like a kid did it and expects you to be okay with that on your body your whole life. Horrible experience. If you don’t care about what you’re getting or if the artist has passion for what they do then RICH IS RHE PERFECT guy for your next tattoo! And they kept my deposit. RICH got mad after I told him I didn’t want his mediocre tattoo he drew up for me after not communicating with me on what I would like on my body and as I was leaving the store tried to get in my face and tell me to leave as I was already leaving he’s very aggressive and if he doesn’t take his job seriously he definitely won’t take your tattoo seriously. Great place. Really chill people and great work. Worked with Kevin B and he was really cool and super chill for my very first tattoo. Took my meds of thoughts and turned them into a cohesive tattoo. I love it!
