Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI don’t normally leave negative reviews, but based on what happened to me here, there’s no way around it and I feel that it is important for other people to know. I came here last week to get my first silk press. The owner seemed nice enough but she and her daughter, who also worked on my hair that day, failed to give me any advice on how to maintain my silk press, gave me a hairstyle that didn’t suit my overall style and the daughter burned my ear a couple of times. I just didn’t feel like I got the right kind of care for something that was my first time having done. Also, when I came, I had just taken down a protective style the night before, so there was some build up on my hair. I didn’t receive a very good wash. Had I known that it was going to be so much trouble getting the residue out, then I would have washed my hair the night before.
