I came in with virgin, chocolate brown hair and asked for barely there highlights just to give dimension. I should have known immediately that something was wrong as she brought out bleach to do the highlights. With my virgin hair, there was no need to use bleach to lighten it by just one shade. I left the salon blonde. When I came back an hour later to tell them to fix it, the owner was in shock and everyone in the salon was going against me, saying that the blonde looked good and to keep it. I’m upset that my previously healthy, virgin hair that I spent so long growing out is now unnecessarily bleached underneath hair color that they had to put on top of it to fix it. I attached pictures of my before, what I asked for, and then what I got.

Silhouettes is by far the best salon I have been to. Debbie, my hair stylist, always gives me exactly what I want. I leave satisfied every time! I have referred many of my friends to this salon and this place is now our new spot every couple of months!! We are always welcomed with coffee and water when we walk in and we feel comfortable with all of the employees that work here! They are all so friendly! This place is great and I highly recommend it to everyone!! ❤️

Love all of the workers here so polite and skilled at their profession! I’ve gone to Debbie religiously and she’s never disappointed. She cut and layered my hair when it’s both long and short! I’ve also done a full head of blonde highlights on my dark brown hair and they have lasted ages. Didn’t fade or go copper/green! Truly wants to make her customers happy! Always offers for me to come in whenever to touch up or fix things if needed! Very accommodating and reasonable! I’ve always bought a few products here that the staff suggested and have loved all of them! The only place I go for my hair 🙂 deff recommend also my hair is rather thin and Debbie and the rest of the staff were very gentle and considerate! My hair is still very healthy!

The only reason I am giving this establishment one star is because the system would not allow no stars. I would not recommend this establishment. Called yesterday for an appointment today and was told that one hairdresser would cut my hair. Went in today and was told they had to share clients. I told the person I did not want the front of my hair cut and that was where the first “chop” was made. I went in wanting the back trimmed and came out with a pixie cut because the original person who was supposed to cut my hair had to do damage control. However, it took months for me to grow my hair to the point where it was yesterday. Today’s hair cut will now probably take a year to get it back to where it was. P.S. the back is crooked and one side is longer than the other.

I am writing a review for an elderly neighbor whom had a horrible experience at this salon. First off she went by herself one day…I saw her that evening and her hair looked like it was fried. I asked her what she did to her hair and she was in tears claiming that it was supposed to be a permanent. ..and that is what she ended up with. The next day I brought her back, and the owner assured her that she would fix her hair and make her happy…instead of giving her the money back. The place is filled with old people who apparently are being taking advantage of. The original lady who did my neighbors hair claimed she does permanents all the time…and the next day the owner told my neighbor that they never do permanents..they only do comb outs. Well after the owner got through with her hair… it is still fried…and not curly like a permanent should be…and the hair cut is lop sided and not even. This place is filled with horrible hair dressers…if you even want to call them that…and the poor old people are being totally taken advantage of..because anyone who can see… will see that the hair is a botch job once they get their hands on it. Stay away from this place!!!!! You will be very unhappy.

I’m from out of state. Just wanted an estimate on how much a simple trim would be. Woman who answered the phone was very rude, wouldn’t even give me an estimate for how much it would be because they “need to see my hair first.” Im sure she could have given me a ballpark range just so that i can compare it to the other places around me. They just lost a customer.
