I’ve been going here off and on for over a decade. Two things have been consistent, your hair WILL look good and it WILL hurt. I appreciate they have 2 braiders working on your head for smaller braids and twist to get you out faster. The work is VERY neat. Every seems to get along and laugh together. My only issue is they braid your hair using their whole body weight so it’s REALLY tight. Prices are VERY competitive compared to other shops as well

It’s just ridiculous we come looking for someone to do two braided ponytails for my 9 year old daughter they said $100.00. if that wasn’t bad enough they tried to tell us what my daughter would prefer for the $100.00. I think I could get some box braids for that price for my 9 year old daughter. Anyways I say charge your worth so we can not complain but don’t try to tell us what we should get for the price we paying ‼️

I’ve been here several times but today is the reason I definitely wont be back. I got here at 8 with my 2 girls. They started right away on my oldest and said someone would be in shortly for my baby. Shortly turned to 945. When she got there I showed her the pic, she said no problem. I left and came back and my baby was just sitting in the chair and they tell me ” I cant braid her hair it’s too soft. Mind you my baby been getting braids.

Needs to be a little more organized and communication on the wait time. Let people sign in with their arrival time and let them know how will be working on you and the estimated wait time. In that case people can go do what they need to do and return it it’s more than a 45 min to 2 hour wait!!!

The best thing about this braiding salon is that they will have 2 or 3 people in your head to come over and help. My braids come out the same size and look. For maybe an 8 hour job I’m out of the salon in about 5 hours. Now you will have to show EXACTLY what you want when going there if it is something unusual. I have been going here for a year now and Rose has been my go to person. Her energy is always warm and pleasant. The best thing about this braiding salon is that they will have 2 or 3 people in your head to come over and help. My braids come out the same size and look. My family and I have been going to Sika for over 15 years. Decided to take my hair today after scheduling an appointment and I was advised that they could take her! Sika Hair braiding was one of the best braiding shops in Clayton county, now there’s no professionalism implemented, it’s a waste of time to make an appointment and they are overwhelmed! Horrible experience! They lady who braided my hair, clearly needs to retire and either didn’t listen to me or didn’t understand me because what I got was definitely not what I asked for! I was at Sika from 12:30 pm – 9 pm. I asked & paid for small Senegalese twist but got micro twist & entirely way too much hair added to the twists. I looked like I should be auditioning for the Lion King. The service was slow, subpar & I stayed up most of the night taking down the way too tight & expensive braids I paid for. I made a $180 donation to the shop for braids I didn’t wear for 24 hrs. My head was throbbing & I couldn’t sleep comfortably! I repeatedly asked the lady to stop braiding my hair so tightly and she just ignored me. I have NEVER had such a bad experience & have never felt more compelled to give a review.
