I have come to this barber shop for 3 years, usually by appointment. It is pricey for a cut typically $28-$30 not including tip but the cuts were good and it supports the small business. I will no longer be going to this barbershop or reccomend it to anyone again. I showed up for my cut 5 minutes early and the barber showed up 25 minutes late, his hands smelled like marijuana and i was stuck smelling it for the 45 minutes. I asked for a medium fade nothing crazy, i did not leave with a medium fade. They do accept a walk in customer without an appointment if they have availability, today they turned away a customer for not having any availability, that customer left and for 40 minutes ( i timed it) the barber did not cut anyones hair until his next appointment. I highly recommend that this business rethink its strategy and remove its walk in signs, when they are clearly not.

Critical: ProfessionalismBeing unaware of needing an appointment I was told that someone would be in soon to take care of me. 30 minutes later a nice kid shows up, takes ten minutes to set up. In this time all other customers were finished and all the other barbers walked out of the building and left me sitting waiting. Very unprofessional especially since both owners were present and both owners walked out leaving a waiting customer. At least let the customer know it will be close to an hour wait. The kids did a good job. Being unaware of needing an appointment I was told that someone would be in soon to take care of me. 30 minutes later a nice kid shows up, takes ten minutes to set up. In this time all other customers were finished and all the other barbers walked out of the building and left me sitting waiting. In all the places I have ever worked in my life, if the hours are 9-5, then the hours are 9-5. If someone comes in at 4:59pm, We gladly serve them! When it hit 5:00pm on the dot, I would turn off the sign and lock the door. I understand it is Saturday but it was 4:23pm l, the sign was on the doors were open. I walked in to a gentlemen cashing out ( early or course ) I asked politely “ can my son get his haircut? “ he said no we are closed. Why is the sign on and the door unlocked? I almost put up a fight but what is the point. I walked away asking myself, where is the love for the job? the customer satisfaction? the desire to make some extra money? Are we expendable? Do you already have your client list and you don’t need my services? These guys do a good job. I don’t agree with some of their mannerisms but I will take it as long as they take care of my son. To anyone that goes there, I hope you have better luck. I was disappointed and I will now look elsewhere.

I think I’ve found my new barbershop. It was easy to book an appointment and I walked in and sat down immediately at my scheduled time. Javonne was friendly and did an excellent job, taking time to check in throughout the cut to make sure everything was looking how I wanted. Haircut

However I can’t help but notice that the customer service has gradually been declining. For a shop that takes walk in haircuts, I’ve been turned down far too many times. Many of the guys in there are good, but some of the younger fellas could use an attitude adjustment. However I can’t help but notice that the customer service has gradually been declining. For a shop that takes walk in haircuts, I’ve been turned down far too many times.
