The best tattoo place ever! It’s extremely clean, welcoming, and comfortable. I got my first tattoos here and will never go anywhere else! Andrew is amazing and was always there to answer questions and schedule everything. John Sultana is an incredibly gifted tattoo artist and blew my mind with his precise line work, and he is also very supportive and patient. I got exactly what I wanted and the experience exceeded my expectations – 100% recommend!

I’ve been going to Owen ever since I was old enough to get tattoos. He’s done most of my tattoos but whenever I go to someone else I usually end up wishing I had just stuck with Owen. He has a very light hand and works very fast. Tattoos can be pricey but that’s what you get if you want an excellent tattoo! He does excellent line and shading work. He’s the only one I trust in town and the tattoos always come out better than I had originally anticipated.

My wife and I honeymooned in Santa Fe and decided to get matching tattoos while we were in the area. Owen was so kind alongside the other artists there. We received a free sticker after leaving and a tattoo care guide. Shrine, among other places in Santa Fe, was a place to remember. Should we ever travel to New Mexico again, we will definitely leave with a new tattoo to remember it by. Thanks Owen!

I’m so happy this shop exists here in Santa Fe! Everyone I’ve interacted there has been very professional and friendly. It can be hard to get an appointment but it’s worth the wait and if you follow them on social media they will post if they have last minute openings. The work I got from Zac is gorgeous and Marie is an earth angel who created a beautiful tattoo for me. I can’t wait to get more work done.

I showed up to Shrine about 2 years ago for my first tattoo. It was a big project (full sleeve) and as you can imagine I was very nervous, not really knowing what to expect from the experience. I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Zac who in addition to having an extraordinarily high level of technical mastery was able to guide me through the process patiently while putting my fears at ease. I’ve since returned to have additional work done by him and my experiences have been great. The staff is super friendly and professional. And Zac treats his projects as commissions for a piece of artwork. It’s a very professional approach that paints the experience in really cool way. Good vibes all around. I travel a good distance to get tattooed here. If you live in Santa Fe or even ABQ and you’re not getting tattooed at Shrine you may want to reconsider your life decisions. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

This is the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. This is a group of incredibly personable, organized, professional, and talented artists. I felt valued and cared for since my consult and scheduling, and I know I will be cared for after my new tattoo has healed in the event I need a touch up. Seeing Zac’s work online, I knew I had to get a tattoo by him. Since I live out of state, we worked via phone and email to put together a plan for my sleeve. Zac is super nice and professional (he even worked on one of his days off to accomodate me). Andrew aided in the booking of all the appointments–he’s also awesome! The shop itself was clean with a great atmosphere. What a bummer I don’t live in NM, otherwise Shrine would be seeing a lot more of me after getting this badass tattoo.

Emma Bagley has the patience, emotional awareness and integrity that every tattoo artist should be trained in! Emma sat patiently with me during more than one re-work of my design and when I was experiencing anxiety right before the tattoo began, she paused, picked up on my anxiety and suggested we wait until I was 100% sure I wanted to get tattooed – she is TRULY dedicated to a good experience for all parties involved; she cares more about happy clients over making a profit. Her energy and dedication to the sacredness of tattooing are truly amazing. I highly recommend working with her – this is the experience and level of communication you want with a tattoo artist!
