Soooo let’s be real here this is a “Hood Spot” the prices are affordable && the work is pretty good !! the owner is an absolute sweet heart & an amazing business woman but just don’t let her do your hair (NO SHADE) Get there early && please have your schedule clear for at least 2- 3 hours ! They only do walk in’s & start off with ONE stylist they all come in about 30 Mins apart, also they only take CASH! don’t expect the stylist to be super chatty & friendly cause they aren’t ! They are never rude, but just know they are there to do hair & collect their coins that’s it… it really hasn’t been a style that I haven’t liked from Show Stoppers, the regular clients always know what to expect we’re just used to it, because literally they have the BEST prices in town !! I do recommend this salon but pleaseeeee set your expectations realistically! I’ve been going here for like over 5 years!!!

Please don’t go here. They literally placed my closure on the front of my head, charged me $100 and wouldn’t fix it. The owner Mel does not care. Her solution was to recharge me in order to fix my hair.

Horrible service , this was first and last time ever going to this place. The girl centra installed my wig middle part crooked then asked me if I wanted baby hairs and cut those crooked too one was higher then the other. She asked me if I wanted it sewed down and I said yes well apparently she only sewed down the back and bearly did that bc as soon as I left the salon and reached home I brushed my hair and the entire front part of the wig pulled back and came off . I IMMEDIATELY called the shop and was told to come in so they can fix it in the morning . I get there with wig off and they accuse me of taking it off myself . I don’t even know how to cut a wig off at all. It wasnt even sewed downed properly to begin with. So if i was able to just lift it off the stylist would jave also. I wasnt trying to run a scheme of any sort i just wanted my hair done properly for the 70 dollars that i paid for her to just tap glue on my head and one strand of yarn and called it secure. Then had the nerve to lay babyhairs down with glue and not proper gel for hair. And then tried to make me pay for the install all over again. I will never go back to this place ever again

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueIf you have another option PLEASE go somewhere else!!!! I chose this location out of being desperate because the other location was busy. My expectations are not high of the walk in weave shops however I do expect a decent hairstyle and ALL my hair extensions be used if I purchased and am prepared to have a full look. First my stylist was extremely rude… I asked her questions due to me trying something new she was extremely smart and disrespectful. On top of this my hairstyle did not come out anything like I expected… she did not flat iron or gently curl to give me a more sophisticated look. I’m extremely disappointed in the service I received and now understand why the reviews are so low. See I’ve been to the Memorial Drive location a few times and NEVER had a bad experience and assumed that this location would be the same… how wrong I was!!! Save your money and balance your time go somewhere else. You don’t go to a 40 dollar weave shop expecting for a 200 dollar quality sew in ♀️. I never had any issues with my sew-ins. I’m very vocal about how I want it to be done. I explain the pictures when I show them. And I normally and happy with the results. I never had an issue with bad customer service or attitudes. I love coming to them when I’m on a budget and just need something quick. If I want a more detailed sew-in, I’ll go to a different salon. Anyways, I’ve been going here for years!!
