Everyone here is great and it’s a very inclusive salon. I’m a queer woman and I love getting my haircut here. Plus, they don’t charge you insane prices like salons aimed towards women only. And in my experience, I’ve gotten better cuts and colors here than any salon aimed towards women I’ve tried in LA (and I’ve tried many).

I was on holiday in LA and received the worst haircut I have ever got in this barbershop.. it was cut by a girl with very short hair and tattoos, I asked for a mid fade with nothing off the top as I wanted to keep the length and cropped look, she went far to high with the clippers on either side, completely changing the shape of my head, my crown was also completely cut off with the clippers which is something that no barber should do.. I wasn’t charged for this haircut but was just very disappointed as I was on holiday and thought I would get a nice haircut in a barbers in LA, I’m sure not all the barbers are the same in this shop – this is just my unfortunate experience.

I came for a short haircut, and my stylist was very personable and helped me achieve a great look. The environment was fun, I enjoyed the collage on the wall. I wasn’t seen until roughly 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, but it wasn’t a bad experience. Make sure to bring cash or a debit card to tip!

Told them I am growing out a mullet and that I just want to get a mid-skin fade on the sides. I even showed them picture of what I want, and they cut my mullet off completely. Tell your staff to listen with their ears next time Haircut, Fade cut

I have had the same person cutting my hair for the past 15 years. Times changed and I discovered Jackie at Shorty’s Barbershop on Fairfax. I was a bit apprehensive because my guy knew every detail about my haircut, but after working with Jackie, my apprehension turned into happiness. She was awesome, attentive and easy to work with.
