100%, A+, 5 golden stars, whatever you want to say about them they ROCKED! The staff was great and explained exactly what to do and expect. All of the information was provided prior to my daughter and me receiving any treatments and I agreed to it all. Yes it was expensive, but it’s a specialty. That’s why you pay more for something you can’t do yourself.. absolutely worth it IMO. No this is not a paid review (for the lady below), this is after trying to do at home kits with no results and finally sucking up the price to get it done right! And getting a consultation at the same time, on how to make sure it doesn’t come back– We will be following their recommendations and returning for our check ups in a few days. 🙂 thanks shiny strands!

They are awesome unfortunately my daughter seems to get it from her cousins so I tend to take my daughter every other weekend to the salon for them to check. Even if she doesn’t have I still go. They are amazing and treat us so well and they care so much that is the best part.

My two young girls (5 and 9) got lice, and it was a terrifying experience for me (as I’m sure all moms feel!). They got us in the next day, cleaned both girls’ heads and made me feel so much better about it all. I went in this morning for a re-check and one of my gals was completely clean and the other only had a few unviable eggs…mind you they were FULL when I went in the first time. I can’t express how much I appreciate their organization and how much I appreciate their professionalism, attention and support. I even told my girls’ school about this place, because this is a reoccurring issue and I don’t want to lose them in case we ever need to go back. They got us in the next day, cleaned both girls’ heads and made me feel so much better about it all. This place is a great option if someone in your household has contracted head lice. My daughter caught it 2 years ago at daycare and it was horrifying (that’ll make you itchy). My husband found Shiney Strands online. The called is back right away but couldn’t get us in due to it being the 4th. They got us in the next day combed thru all of our hair, treated it, and that was it. No more lice. My 2 year old just contracted it from his brother. Same thing with him. We all went in. His was a little harder case but it went away after a few days and the salon did a 2nd treatment. (This is rare but my son had microscopic bugs and eggs so they were not coming out with the comb). He was free and clear after 6 days! You’ll spend way more buying products that don’t work. They specialize in this area and will give you all the information to clean up rooms in the house and how to prevent getting it again! A forever fan!

Look, just let the experts do it. The pesticide stuff in the box is a huge pain, and it just doesn’t work. This might be a little more expensive, but the boxes stuff isn’t exactly cheap. So,save that money and take the kids here!

My daughter had lice TWICE from school, obviously because I didnt do very well getting all the nix/lice out the first time. I took her to Shiny Strands in Naperville and they did WONDERFUL job! They got all of it out. Its WORTH going there. Thanks!!!
