I’m new to this area. I’m still learning where all the good service and shopping spots are too. The icing on the cake is to find a good nail salon close to my resident. I was nervous when I walked in because every salon has good and bad reviews. Well, I can honestly say my first visit to SHINY NAILS was a very very good experience. The Techs are quiet but very pleasant, professional and neat. Thank you for making my 1st visit a good one. I shall return.

This place is horrible! I called about a manii & pedi for a 7 yr old and was told one price but, when I arrived, I was told a different price that was more. And they actually argued with me about this! What happened with the customer being RIGHT!

Pedicure was subpar and they used some cheap watered-down nail polish that looked dry and cracked up the next day. I called them and went back for them to re-polish my nails and they did. But the same thing happened again with the polish looking like they applied the “cracked” nail polish. I will never return there. If I have to pay for your services, I expect for you to do it correctly and use decent polish.

Eric did an excellent job on my natural gel overlay fill in. He followed instructions exactly how I explained to him. And no shade, but he speaks English very well. He’s really nice and personable. I WILL BE GOING BACK! There was a young lady there who also slayed my girls nails.

My daughter and I spent $235 at Shiny Nails. I was excited to take her because my first experience there was great. I was sadly disappointment this time. Tina, (sits in the last chair on the left ), did both of our nails and she did my daughter’s shiny princess pedicure. The pedicure was the entire purpose for the visit. She rushed my daughter’s shiny princess pedicure. She totally missed the experience of what I described to her about this particular pedicure. She also rushed our nails. Although at first site, my nails looked beautiful. Then I saw the sloppy cuticles which would’ve only taken a Q-tip to clean up. The older lady did a nice job on my shiny princess pedicure. To have rushed services when there was only 2 other people there, was ridiculous. Highly disappointed. This is why I’m currently looking for a new nail spa to go to. You won’t get me twice. Tried supporting the neighborhood business, but they made the mistake of getting comfortable with me and losing their professionalism.

I requested a “Basic Pedicure,” that cost 28.00 dollars the older lady that spoke little English does a 40.00 pedicure and the lady says I asked for that I said I didn’t and the man in the first sit stated I asked her for it. I felt intimidated by that guy so I just paid for it and said I would never come back and I already stopped getting my nails done there. I feel like owner intimidated to spend money I didn’t have bc its the shop responsibility to make sure the employees understand the customer. It was run better when the other man and wife was there. Don’t waste your money. Also they have an older man doing pedicures and he sucks. He can’t even polish nails.

Eric did my nails. They were crooked. Not even 2 weeks later one fell off and 2 more are very loose. Im gentle on my nails. Minimal house work. I work from home so idk. I got my nails done on July 31st and today is August 10th. So the 14th would have made 2 weeks. I paid $80 for these. Kim does good job. Won’t be returning for nails, just pedicure. Although I know the salon inside Homewood Walmart is cheaper.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis place is extremely unprofessional. They rush and never apologize to you about messing up your nails. I got my nails done on Saturday. A full set Ombre set. I have never had my nails literally pop off 2 days later. I went back the same day my nail popped off. Had to drive over there twice in one day. I had 3 nails come off in one day. Never did they apologize for the problem or anything. As a customer spending my money I would expect a little more to fix the problem then for them to tell me my nails are ok when clearly you can lift the nail and see my real nail….2 days later might I remind you. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR will I go here again nor do I recommend this place. It honestly need to be shut down. These nail shop need us to keep they bills paid. REMEMBER THAT Ladies.
