Not fancy, but dependable, professional, quality work. I’ve been getting pedicures here FOREVER, and recently started using them for fill-ins, as well. They rescued my nails, which a previous salon ruined, and I wish I’d come here first when my longtime nail tech left the business. So don’t come looking for a beautiful, spa-like salon experience, but do come if you value people who know what they’re doing and truly appreciate their clients.

Her staff of LuLu and David and others are amazing, too. They strive to please and the results are always the best. My manis and pedis last so long and look great. This place is a hidden gem. Owner Jennifer is the sweetest nail salon owner I have ever met!!! Her staff of LuLu and David and others are amazing, too. They strive to please and the results are always the best. My manis and pedis last so long and look great. The store is clean and always sanitized in between customers. If you haven’t given Shiny a try, I would highly recommend it.

Worst nail salon I’ve ever been to! My sister and I wanted to get our nails done before a trip to Belize. We arrived an hour and a half before closing time. Sister wanted regular manicure, I needed full gel set and lip wax. I specifically asked if there was time because there were only two nail technicians. They said no problem, pick your colors. We waited a reasonable amount of time (10-15 min). My tech was one of the oldest ladies and I am not sure if she was new or what but she was very rude, spoke no English, or else acted like she didn’t and seemed irritated that we came late because she kept looking at the clock. She cut me (bleeding involved in all three times), and never once said sorry or even acknowledged that she did it even when I told her she cut me. She put a paper towel on the cuts and kept right on going. I should have known right then this was not going to go well and should have bypassed the lip wax. When she waxed my lip she did not blow on the wax or obviously check the heat because when she put it on it burned my skin. Then, what seemed to be very intentional, she ripped it off so aggressive I winced. I told her it really burned and hurt, she said, “no, it okay”. The next day I had burned lip in three places that eventually scabbed it was such a bad burn. If there was a minus stars I would have selected that rating. Horrible salon, rude people and I will never go back!!

I went to this place a few days ago and by the third day, my nails broke off. They placed the nails all the way to the tip of my fingers and didn’t do a good job around the cuticles. They also charge you according to the nail polish brand; a $3 extra charge. My daughter had her nails done from November 19 at another salon and needed a filling and to fix one broken nail, yet all her nails are still intact. There were two different persons who did my nails, one added the nails and the other applied the acrylic and then they switched again. And when they were done applying the acrylic, they told me to pay and asked if “no tip.” I gave them my card and paid a cash tip that I told her to split for the other technician who did my daughter’s nails. It was no surprise that they were empty when we got there and when I called to enquirer about the price, it was different when we arrived there. They also saved my number and kept calling me to find out when I was coming.

Have been loyal customer for 18 months. Scheduled appmt. for two manicures at 2pm. Right before we arrived, I received a call telling me to come in at 3 pm….they were too busy to honor my appmts. A customer should be treated as a purpose of their workday, not interruption. Poor decision. Will never return.

After a week my gel mani was chipped and parts of my nail polish was peeling from the corners. The owner is nice, but the one lady who did my nail was not friendly and did a terrible job. I refuse to go back there!

Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueI so upset bc I liked coming here. I got a really bad toe nail fungus that I have to take antibiotics for and my doctor said they are going to have to remove my toe nail please beware they drilled the gel off my toe with dirty tools 🙁
