I was a monthly regular here for many years. The staff have always been nice and respectful. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 mins to be serviced (even on weekends). They used to do an excellent job (which made me ok with paying $130 + tips for a gel mani & pedi) but over the past year I’ve noticed a decline in the quality of their services, products, and cleanliness. They’ve had some turnover and most of the staff members have been replaced with less skilled ones. I’ve had to dial back on getting services I like such as nail extensions and specialized pedis because only 1 or 2 techs can do them to my liking. Over the past year, I’ve experienced everything from painful foot massages, to bulky/streaky/uneven/crooked/chipping nails, monomer reactions, and a nasty fungal infection. I give them the benefit of doubt with the fungal infection since I have visited other salons while traveling, but I’ve also noticed them re-using the disposal flip flops, pouring acetone in rancid polish and using the same UV light machines for both pedicures and manicures. My last straw was when the guy who rubs your neck, tried to massage me after a very noticeable cigarette break. He didn’t even bother to wash his hands. On top of that they been increasing their prices. It’s understandable with today’s inflation, but not when you’re doing mid work with unsanitary practices. It’s a pity, I really hope they can get back to what they used to be.

I have been there twice so far. Bad experience with both manicure and pedicure. They discussed in Chinese about who they think the race you are which made me uncomfortable because I can understand the language. A man did my manicure very awful. They just let me sat the other side to use UV dry my nails, as expected, my nails only dry half way. I will never go back again.

After being ‘shooed away’ from New Grace Nails across the street for not doing dip powder, I was greeted by far more friendly, and extremely talented nail techs at Shiny Nail & Spa. Their 3.1 rating is a far cry from the attention to detail at reasonable prices for a gel pedicure and dip powder manicure. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I have only walked in 4-5 times when I am in the area and I need a gel manicure or a fill and they do a wonderful job! They might take a little extra time then some of the other places do as well as charge a bit more but they are very thorough to make sure each nail is perfect! I would highly recommend this place! I have noticed my gel manicures last longer when I get them done here because of their precision.

Walked in and asked for a regular manicure for my daughter (sign reads $13) went to pay and they said $18 I said, it says $13. They told me the polish she picked is better and lasts longer so it’s $18. I’ve never heard of this! We paid $35 for her friend to have a fill of acrylics. They didn’t fill but just covered with gel.

Normally I don’t have an issue and I always enjoy going to this nail salon in the mall. But today they literally took two other customers over me and I will never go to them again because I was waiting for like 40 minutes. Absolutely trash. There is literally only one good nail technician.
