The man is an actual genius with scissors. I highly recommend this salon to anyone, and especially so to those looking for a change but aren’t exactly sure what they want. Mr. Shin will somehow find the best style based on your face shape, hair type, and profession. What I found to be especially uncanny and incredible about my haircut from him is that the style looks good after weeks and weeks, and takes little to no effort to style afterwards. He cuts hair to maximize its natural shape and beauty so that it looks so good long after Mr. Shin is done. He’s a savant and an artist who understands the living canvas that is your scalp and hair. Treat yourself, you surely will not be disappointed!

It’s crazy how I’m actually leaving a feedback. I usually go to my barber at the barbershop but my guy had an emergency. So I ended up going to the closest location. Well it was a jackpot for me. He did a great job cutting my hair. Since it’s a salon, I was very nervous, watching every piece of my hair getting cut lol but the results were amazing. I might need to change my barber to this guy for good

So I was recommended by a friend of mine from Fort Lee High School. Since all my classmates are mostly Asian and me being Hispanic, I needed to fit in with similar style since that’s the trend! Hehe. So I asked and was told about this location. Which I was skeptical since I saw some review from someone living in California and Massachusetts and Wyoming giving negative feedbacks got me thinking it was a fake feedback from competitors or something. But not my business on that. But let me tell you about my experience. Let me just say, I have a Korean boyfriend now after getting my hair done on a Friday and where I went out on a date that same night. I never had so many compliments and so many stares from guys all ages. It was cool but creepy. Hehe 😉 but at the end it was successful night and it all started from this spot! Mr.Shin is angel to me. Made me look so beautiful and showed me the real beauty of me and telling me what needs to be done. Thank you Mr Shin. As promised I will bring my aunts and other family members. He already know! Told him Hispanics have big family hehehe

Misin is a true artist. Hair is his medium, and it is so fun collaborating with him on what im looking for. He always goes for what feeling you want from your hair, how you want to feel, he takes time to understand the texture of your hair, how it will fall. I work in the entertainment industry so I’ve had the best of the best work on my hair, and my hair is always on point with him. Just gotta trust the process. Sometimes he will ask you to stand, or turn your head this way or that way, and sometimes we have a dance break ☺️ which i love. If you are looking for something creative and expressive, go for it. If you are looking for some place where you just sit and do nothing and dont want to be involved in the process, i would say try another regular salon.
