I discovered this salon in 2018 when I first started growing locs. Kesh was my stylist and did such an amazing job that he is STILL my Loctition to this day! He is very professional, cordial, quick with the retwists and does awesome styles. He is very skilled and everyone is very professional in the shop. 10/10 would strongly recommend this salon and Kesh (Locs concept on Instagram)

I just called to see if the business is doing walk-in services for the day for loc maintenance. The person who answered the phone was very rude, patronizing and seemed frustrated that I was questions to ensure that I am making sure that they can do the service that I am asking for. All because of lousy attitude I will go somewhere else! If business owners only knew that customer service is everything you’d have more clients. Anyone that can’t be respectful over the phone does not deserve my money. Hope someone else’s experience is better than mine was!

I needed an emergency retwist as my loctician moved to another state and I had an Interview. I was able to book appointment with Kesh. I was apprehensive about going to someone new as its recommended to always get your hair done by same person for locs. But I was desperate. I had a great experience from the moment I walked into the shop and until leaving. Very laid back environment with African Diaspora Music and pleasant jokes and conversation. The process of getting my hair done was painless. I can be tender headed at times and have had experience in past with my 1st loctician being rough. That was a 1 time visit. BUT, Kesh was very fast in under 2 hours tops and was comfortable and painless. I will definitely stay loyal to my usual loctician when she is in town. But for my ongoing hair care I will be coming back to Kesh and this shop every 6 weeks. This was my 2nd updo ever and I love how it came out. He did 2 strand twist 1st then updo.

The owner Kahuu makes you feel like you’re an old friend whenever I come there. He always shows so much love to my son and does an amazing job on his hair every time. Never a dull encounter when in his shop. Kesh does my hair and although its only been a few months of going there, he knows me so well when it comes down to styling my hair. So glad to finally find a place that is consistent and always available when I need them to be. If you have locks or want them, look no more this is the place to be.
