Shine Facial Bar membership will forever be a nonnegotiable in my monthly budget! I love that I can achieve my skin goals without breaking my bank. The estheticians always have the best recommendations for how to care for my skin. The products they recommend don’t break the bank and create amazing results. I love how I can always get an appointment, even if I decide last minute I need a service. I would definitely recommend anyone who is wanting healthier skin start adding appointments at SHINE to their monthly calendar!!

I don’t get to go often but every time I do go it’s been a great experience. The place is always clean and I’ve always been greeted with a smile. The estheticians are always eager to answer any questions and willing to teach on ways to take care of your skin and the importance of doing so. They are very helpful with finding products and services that work best for your skin type and budget. They offer great deals for first time clients and I recommend giving them the opportunity to make you feel your best.

I’ve been coming to Shine on and off since they opened and I always enjoy my visit. At the beginning of the year, I started a membership and can tell a HUGE difference in my skin. I always see Helen and she goes above and beyond to make sure I’m getting the right facial each month. It’s also the cutest place ever! Didn’t really want to write a bad review, but the professionalism has certainly gone downhill ever since I started coming here a little less than 2 years ago. Everyone who works at the front seems to be in high school still and not trained super thoroughly. I usually have to wait a bit for someone to even come to the front most of the time.

Absolutely beautiful office. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. For my first facial, I Started with a new client facial. Helen did a fantastic job and gave me samples to take home and try. Literally saw results after my first visit. Helen was very informative and gave me great feedback. She was patient with all my questions. I left with a hydrated face and another appointment. Highly recommended! If it’s your first time getting a facial, I recommend asking for Helen! She is great!

I found this experience was just what I needed to get back on track with my skincare routine and help me maintain my skin… Busy people need self-care too. Think of it as getting an oil change but for your face- quick and easy!Mandi is my aesthetician. She has always found a way to accommodate my busy schedule in her books (I drive from Birmingham). Critical: ProfessionalismI have been a member at Shine since February up until today, the staff always seemed nice and friendly, I started off with Nancy who was always sweet, then I moved to Valerie because of a change in the particular service I wanted. She has always been nice but a little extra on the “girl” word, when I have a NAME! Today I felt very uncomfortable, so uncomfortable that I knew it wasn’t just a feeling, leaving out I always go by the counter to schedule an appointment but today for some odd reason no follow ups were needed. I was being discussed in the next room, and customer service was just very poor today. I have been a member at Shine since February up until today, the staff always seemed nice and friendly, I started off with Nancy who was always sweet, then I moved to Valerie because of a change in the particular service I wanted. She has always been nice but a little extra on the “girl” word, when I have a NAME! Overall my experience at Shine was great! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and it was very clean. I did feel like my facial was rushed though but other than that I have no complaints about the service I received, it was great! The only other complaint (if you can even call it that) was that it wasn’t a very relaxing atmosphere? I just wasn’t expecting pop music while getting a relaxing facial lol. I’ll definitely come back if I want something fast but if you’re wanting to be calm and relaxed I would look elsewhere.

Critical: QualityI’m not one to write reviews usually, but I had a bad experience so I thought I’d share. I’ve was getting my lashes done by Mandy at Shine for quite some time. In the beginning she always took her time and was really gentle with the lash application. As time went on, she was doing my lashes really quickly, sometimes in 15-20 minutes for a volume fill. I have been getting my lashes done for around 4 years, and I have never had a fill go by that quickly, even if it was a mini fill. She also was started to get really rough on my lashes and it would sometimes be pretty painful. The last and final time that I went to her was 3 weeks ago, and at the end of the appointment I could hear scissors, I thought that maybe she was just trimming some tape or it was just tweezers. After I paid and got in my car, I looked in the mirror and some of the lash extensions on my right eye were cut/trimmed, and I saw the parts of the extensions that were cut off. If you have ever had lash extentions, you know they look horrible when they’re cut because they are no longer whispy and get super stubby. I have no idea why she cut them, nor do I know why she thought I wouldn’t notice. I was extremely upset and annoyed. Yesterday, I got my lashes done by someone at another lash place and she said that my natural lashes were extremely damaged because of how clumpy and heavy the fans were, as well as the application and removal process.
