Lashell has been cutting my hair for years and there is no one I trust more. I have very thick curly hair and I have been very happy with each cut & treatment. My daughter also has my same hair type so naturally when it was time to begin with her first hair cut we saw Lashell. She does great with kids too. I highly recommend her services!

I got my hair colored and cut by Kali McCandless, and she did an amazing job!! It was medium brown with some bad orangey highlights, and she transformed it into this beautiful dusky rose balayage!! I have never had anything this extreme done to my hair so I was a little nervous at first, but she is so knowledgeable and meticulous that she put my mind at ease and I had a great time! My hair feels so soft and healthy too. I highly recommend her:)

Kalli did my hair here this last weekend, but I’ve been following her from salon to salons for a while now. She’s a true artist that loves to experiment but also bring your vision to light. The only person I trust with my hair, all the color and none of the damage from bleach. She knows her stuff!

I’ve had LaShell Highlight my hair twice now and both times she had exceeded my expectations. I went to her with grown out, faded muddy brown hair and she turned that into a gorgeous blended multi dimensional blonde. Her shop gives a very intimate vibe and you feel that you are the priority with no distractions. I highly recommend that you check out her shop! She’s very flexible with scheduling and will really work with you to get the result you desire!

LaShell is Awesome! I came to LaShell with boxed dyed hair with split ends for days and just an all round mess, she took one look and said “it’s ok, lets fix this”. Then she performed a miracle. I left with my hair a beautiful natural color and silky smooth trimmed and ready to hit the town. I have since taken both my daughters and they love their cuts. My oldest has recently gone in for a dye and absolutely loved how LaShell took the time to help her choose a color and explained how to care for the fun color she chose. Highly recommend Shell’s Hair salon to all. She also cuts my husband’s hair. The shop is very personal and welcoming. 5 ⭐ are not enough.

Stumbled upon this gem in Old Orcutt and couldn’t of been happier after my experience with Lashelle come to find out was actually the owner of this amazing little salon.
