I was not pleased at all. They did not do what I said or showed. I specifically asked them not to do my braids so big because it makes them heavy and I have fine hair. If you are a professional then you should know that. I wasted my $200 on a hairstyle that I can’t do anything with. I was quoted $180 but after they were done she (Shekina) told me $200. I don’t mind paying for good service but this time it wasn’t good and I didn’t know it was like this until it was finished. Very very disappointed!!!!!

Excellent, excellent, excellent salon!!! I was calling around the day before trying to find a salon that would be able to braid my daughter’s hair for the following day and decided to see Ms. Shekinah. I went to another salon a month prior to have my daughter’s hair braided in simple cornrows, and we sat there for nearly 6 hours just for them to braid 10 large cornrows. Ms. Shekinah braided my child’s hair so beautifully and she had us out in less than 2 hours. I believe we spent maybe 1 hr. and 30 mins. total. My husband was even shocked at how quickly we were out of there. This is our spot from here on out. Thank you very much Ms. Shekinah for your wonderful customer service and speed .

Awesome work on my head. I was able to get in same day. You will have multi people completing your hair but the process is great. She has a wonderful team. Atmosphere was great. I will be returning.

Thanks soooo much !! I am from out of town & got in the same day I called. I’m not a braid chic, but they did a wonderful job, especially for me to be a 1st timer, and one of my friends went within the next week for the same style. I WILL be returning.. Price was reasonable considering my appointment was last minute.

Shakinah did an amazing job. My daughter and I both got box braids. She braids really fast so you’re not in the chair all day long and that’s a great thing.
